The 5 Stitches Garage 20 x 22 in FL
Ok guys got a ton of work done today. Long post and many pictures warning LOL
I decided to build my shelf extension but turned into a total rebuild. Here's a good viewing of how I build my shelves. I got a 16" by 8' piece of 3/4 ply and 2 new 2x4x8. Plus I reused old wood too so pics will be easy to follow.
I helped to joint at back of 2x4 with a splicer.
This shelf is one piece 13' 4" long. I came up with this solution to a problem. The shelf above brackets interfere with this shelf.
This usually makes my shelves nose down. You can usually shim it but came up with new solution. I first leveled the shelf with items I wanted.

Then I cut my under pieces I mount my brackets but this time I made them longer.

Which to my surprise worked. I did 2 more just like this. Believe it or not I got shelf loaded with stuff and no brackets

This is my 6in big Chinese vise

And it's level

Only 2 screws in each support X 6.

HOLY ****!!!!! Wish I learned this years ago.
Ok I the started or the corner.

Removed old wood

Ended up with 2 full 8' from ceiling to almost the floor.

The 2x4 on right and far left run from ceiling and middle will hold tool chest bracket and hangs off over shelf.

Everything is 3 1/2 tapcom into the concrete block wall. With the tool box in place I can open top.

I can open drawers

And ended up with a cubbie hole for stuff.

I removed all the pegboard and started work from the corner.
I removed some wood from the where the hung from above shelf to hang the pegboard.

Here's a good look at electrical done. I have to go in here and get the ends for the conduit into the box. It was covered by pegboard. Oh btw Shortykorte I do and did have a power strip. LOL

I still havnt made a decision on bench yet. Depends of many factors like electrical and other cabinets I find. I will just figure it out. It's beer time [emoji482]
