Still notta lotta help. Something to support a graft? Or bonsai? Spring mounts for the drip waterer in your grow-op? It would be really cool to see the thing in action, with enough context to figure it out.

wow, that's some horticultural hocus pocus stuff right there. i'm jealous.yes exactly. support the graft point beyond just what the little silicone jobby does. the tree grows into my support until about 1" in diameter.
And then do you cut it off, or does it help keep it restricted to "bonsai" the tree?yes exactly. support the graft point beyond just what the little silicone jobby does. the tree grows into my support until about 1" in diameter.

I triple dog dare you!And no, I’m not going to print raptor arms for them![]()
Printed a few signs for the chicken run. My wife loves stuff like this for her ladies. And no, I’m not going to print raptor arms for them![]()

Most excellent. Care to share the file?Finished product...
Just in case anyone is wonder, aside from demonstrating my sense of humor (or lack thereof, depending on your perspective), this is a commentary how I feel about a certain company's pricing, not any personal proclivities I may have. I have no problem paying for quality but when I see their price sheets, it feels (at least to me) like they are saying "bend over..."
You are going to get all kinds of opinions. These are mine based on printers I own and have used.I’ve been looking to pick up a printer. Any suggestions of things to look for and stay away from?
Prusa printers are nice but also cost a ton and seem to be geared towards people who like to mess with stuff. And die hard Prusa guys.
That has not been my experience, I have a friend who has bought pretty much every one available and does all the upgrades, he has around 12 of them currently. He constantly has issues and uses mine or the Bambu ones at work when his are down. Seems like the newer they are the worse they are, and very expensive. He didn't use to have near as many problems on the older ones. Agree to disagree.True, but you don't have to ever touch a Prusa if you don't want to. They are bulletproof workhorses, so they are ideal for noobs.
That has DEFINITELY not been my experience with my Prusa XL. Their support is truly awful. I 100% do not recommend Prusa.True, but you don't have to ever touch a Prusa if you don't want to. They are bulletproof workhorses, so they are ideal for noobs.
Maybe point out what's erroneous, the only advice he has gotten is from me. Which I stated was my opinion. I'm guessing your talking about Prusa, like I said its just based on my experience and apparently at least one other person here. I would take my Anycubic over a newer Prusa any day. At least Anycubic support is super nice and sends tons of parts quickly if you have an issue. Usually more than you need, but I am always happy to receive free spare parts. My friend with all the Prusa printers constantly complains about lack of support, or really rude support when he finally reaches somebody. If you like tinkering and don't mind a +30% failure rate then Elegoo, Anycubic, and Creality are for you.
You want to unbox, setup, load filament, and print within an hour? Prusa, Bambu, and Flashforge are for you.
Please do your due diligence. You will receive, and already have received some erroneous information.

Dude, I wasn't speaking of you or Prusa.Maybe point out what's erroneous, the only advice he has gotten is from me. Which I stated was my opinion. Sorry, since I was the only person that replied directly to him I assumed you meant something I said. And I am getting a little thin skinned from all the grief I keep getting other places from Prusa fanboys when trying to help my friend get his working, I apologize.Dude, I wasn't speaking of you or Prusa.

I feel like I'm in bizarro world. Prusa has class-leading support as well as upgradability and amazing parts availability. Mine has around 90 print days on it and has been flawless. I have contacted Prusa support about questions and it has always been perfect. I honestly couldn't imagine better support. Which manufacturers have better support? That has DEFINITELY not been my experience with my Prusa XL. Their support is truly awful. I 100% do not recommend Prusa.
How does you buddy have 12 Prusas that are ALL down, forcing him to use a Bambu or a printer at work? Sounds fishy or he's seriously doing something wrong, lol. That has not been my experience, I have a friend who has bought pretty much every one available and does all the upgrades, he has around 12 of them currently. He has been buying them since the RepRap/i3 days, his older slower ones are mostly fine, just the 4-5 faster ones he has gotten in the last 2-3 years are constantly having issues so he borrows faster ones from me or work when printing large or multiple items that he wants fast. He is pretty smart and has built a lot of printers from scratch, as well as building 4 head Prusa printers that are pretty slick, just slow. How does you buddy have 12 Prusas that are ALL down, forcing him to use a Bambu or a printer at work? Agreed. Worse than SnapOn for people hating on it. No real shred of evidence that printing info is going to China (every time it comes up, there are tons of speculation, or posting AI summaries as fact). Or people don't like the "walled garden" when it was never a secret that was what Bambu wanted to do. They buy aftermarket stuff, and then complain when it doesn't work post-update. Bambu isn't interested in tinkers/modders, sorry.I understand.
I switched over to Bambu from Elegoo and you'd think I started killing puppies.

Point of fact: They just WORK! The only serious failure I have had with multiple at school is when someone had set it up for a .6 nozzle and ABS, then ran PLA thru a .4 nozzle (still not sure how they actually got it to accept printing).
I have been doing this since the Replicator days, and seen lots of the "good ones" along the way. For me, Bambu gets stuff done.
Exactly. The only real question is why people were surprised in the first place. Bambu didn't say "We are open-source" and then "Gotcha"! Makerbots were fairly locked down at the start, until someone reverse engineered the x3g translation. Otherwise, it was Replicator (free, bare bones) or Simplify3d (very pricey). Flashforge got their start making laser-cut Replicator clones, and pretty much identical software/parts.Basically Bambu tightened up the restrictions concerning their proprietary software. The open-source crowd took offense.
does grafting C. sativa onto Nicotiana rootstock actually work? i heard multiple times it doesn't.custome is grafting tabacco and.... another plant thats also smoked...
I'm really distrubed that you have taken to killing puppies. Ponies might be understandable but puppies?I understand.

ShushNext he’ll be telling us he ripped the tag off of his mattress…. Lol
Jeff, I’ll try to post up the file, 3mf okay? You have a Bambu so it will print without issue.![]()
