PASS. I've only used them to install a constant tension style coolant hose clamp in a really tight spot, but it's so nice to clamp it down, then position it in place, then release. I'd recommend them for light-duty long-reach situations.

I never had a problem with the one i have here also, i have a new one i just bought ( could not find my old one ) and they both worked great

Well, it's still a FAIL in my book. I removed the broken stud from the tool and tried it one more time. It's really good at two things: failing and adding weight to the scrap pile.

Mine did this too and it was a pain to put it back in. I locktited the **** out of the screw holding the lock in place.

I'm gonna get a pair of those, and put them in the drawer of tools that I rarely use. Like KU_MechE stated, they'd probably work great for getting clamps on and off..

Whatever level you buy, make sure you check it in the store first. Even high dollar levels can get knocked around in shipping and unpacking. Just find a reasonably flat surface and note where the bubble is. Turn it 180 deg. (like a record) and the bubble should be in the same spot. If not, put it back and try another one.

#2745 oversize low profile creeper PASS
got on sale with coupon and couldnt ask for anything more i weigh about 275 and am kinda broad and it fits me comfortably we have a very rough floor at work with dips and uneven surfaces and normal hard plastic creeper wheels just dont last more than 6 months max plus most creepers are too short leaving my *** hanging off if i slide down at all well this new creeper got nicknamed "the sled" when i carried it in it COMFORTABLY fits me and with my head on the headrest will stop a few inches away from my knees (im 6'1) ive been using it about a month now and it still rolls like a dream the wheels are semi soft rubber they still look new the headrest can be unbolted and recovered/replaced easily there just isnt anything to not love about this creeper, it will stand up on end so it doesnt have to be leaned against a toolbox, its very comparable to a lisle jeepers creeper or napa creeper that goes for $80+ (have both at the shop)

Tried the bottom one, second or third time I removed a wrench, it broke. The plastic was just too stiff and brittle. Replaced it with Ernst, and I am pleased that I did.

I second this. I purchased a couple of the units on the bottom, and wish I hadn't. Hard to get the wrenches in / out, and mine also broke. The plastic seems brittle.

Tried out my newly purchased 1/2" deep well SAE socket set (purchased on clearance for ~$12), as well as the wobble extension set (item # 31203)

I'm mildly disappointed with both. The wobble set has a very poor, cheap looking finish, but I'm ok with that (as long as they work). I used them a few times tonight, with both 3/8 and 1/2 impacts. The retention slots in the extensions are -worthless-. The extensions I used were literally falling off the end of the gun. I replaced the retention o-ring / steel ring on my 3/8 gun last week. It works WELL. Maybe too well, as I've had to pry off a socket or two (Craftsman). These extensions, however, just fall off the gun. I HATE it when sockets / extensions fall off my ratchet / impact gun.

They did give good wobble action, and the 1/2 held up to use with my SO MG725, so those are positive points.

Regarding the socket set, again, more disappointment. Unlike most deepwell sockets that I've used / owned, these impact sockets do not maintain the "nut / hex profile" for the full length. Instead, at a point slightly deeper than "regular" sockets, these sockets close up and go solid, (with a hole drilled through). I know it's a bad description, but it's 7:10am, and I got home at 5am from a 12 hour shift. LOL

The point is, if you have a nut with a bolt protruding, the bolt will "bottom out" on the socket, much the same way it would on a "regular" depth socket. And, unfortunately, "deep well" or not, these sockets will let a bolt bottom out at about the same depth as a regular socket. They work ok for extensions, but they just don't have enough depth to work well on nuts with protruding bolts.

I haven't decided if I'm going to take them both back, or see if workarounds can be achieved.

I have two of the 36411, and love it (I mean... them). Can't beat them for the price!

I have a MAC 10" cable cutter, so not much insight on the HF...

I used it on the 300lb ****** in my F250.

I have the 2k lb version of that jack and man I love that thing. I have probably taken out 10+ transmission/transfer case combo's with it and haven't had a single problem with it.

I have that Pittsburgh Pro set and while they ain't Snap On or Matco (they feel a little lightweight), they've been good screwdrivers. At $5.99 for the set, they're certainly much better than you'd expect for under $1 each.
