Have a look through the manual.I'm back! So I went to HF the other day I went in for the folding ramp but they were out of stock anyways I ended up leaving with a bunch of other stuff in which I got the cen-tech battery charger 57015 Anyways the manual is not really helping so i'm trying to bring back a AGM battery since the voltage was too low it was just in standby... So I have it in parallel with another battery So now what the charger is doing is the Green standby light is on but the LED's for the charge level just keep lighting up from 10% to 100% over and over again.. I assume that it's charging? But then why is the standby light on?
Sadly I have the printed manual and I just ended up looking at all the 1-4 star reviews on the site and the pdf on the site but I see a few people are just as confused as me as.. they say the standby shows all the time.. but I've seen just one LED flashing at a time when charging vs mine looks like it's not doing much.. I think I'm going to leave it for a few hoursHave a look through the manual.
Have you tried a voltage test with the charger connected and disconnected to the battery? I believe the charger should put out 14.2 to 14.5 charging and float around 13.7.Sadly I have the printed manual and I just ended up looking at all the 1-4 star reviews on the site and the pdf on the site but I see a few people are just as confused as me as.. they say the standby shows all the time.. but I've seen just one LED flashing at a time when charging vs mine looks like it's not doing much.. Also I'm going to go by what it said here "2. Charging: LEDs light up from left to right." and when it's done it's stops at 100%
Thanks to you guys, using the 25% off coupon, I picked up the tool creeper for $11.24 yesterday. (Also picked up the Icon parrot-head pliers for $16.49 today.) I'll get back to you with my votes.I hear ya. It's so unbelieveably handy, heck I don't even own a creeper for myself to lay on. I had no idea HF even sold these, I never noticed them before in the store, probably cuse they don't have one out for display. Saw it randomly on their website when I was searching for something else.
Yep, yesterday when I was working on the rear, it wanted to roll down my driveway which is also sloped. I just kept putting my impact to block it. WhenIi took that pic I just turned 2 of the castors sideways & it stayed in place. My driveway slopes a lot so I don't do much work out there, just oil changes. Plus I can't jack up a vehicle on my driveway because of the slope.
I absolutely love this thing!

I've never used that style but honestly it looks awesome. Part of the problem I have with my filter wrench is swinging it around hits everything else in the engine compartment. This would allow me to use an extension and a ratchet and swing clear of all that stuff. Get it and test it out for usHas anyone used the 3 finger "claw" style oil filter wrench from harbor freight?

I am in the market for one, and the snap-on/blue point is over $40, I'm wondering if there is a cheaper one that is just as good.

Not a 3 finger style but the is the best one I've used along those lines. Lands in the middle price wise, there's two sizes . . .

Universal 3.15" - 4.15" Oil Filter Removal Tool
Universal oil filter wrench for set removing spin-on style oil filters from 3.15" (80mm) to 4.15" (102mm). Perfect for filters that are over-tightened or in hard to access locations. Patented extra heavy duty jaw design provides an excellent grip on the filter.www.motivxtools.com
I have one like this, too. Also works fine.
I have ones "like this" too. IMO, the Motvx is a superior design over others like it.
Those look a lot thicker but I'm always skeptical of the "box-x stitch" in these applications.
I'm not worried about the stitching as these won't be holding a lot of weight, around 30lbs each max. They're polyester and not the nylon style my old ones were. I could hold one end of the webbing and my son could hold the other. Without much effort, we could get the old green style to slip through the buckles. They were rated at 550lbs working load. They let go long before we put 50lbs on them. Those look a lot thicker but I'm always skeptical of the "box-x stitch" in these applications.
ThanksSounds like they will work great for your application.
I never noticed those before -- thanks for mentioning them. What size are the hex bolsters? (I don't see it in the listing, hoping they are metric. Are they all the same size or proportional to the driver?8 piece bolstered screwdriver set - PASS.
I have a homedepot bucket with a tool pocket insert for my property project tools and needed to add a set of screwdrivers. used the 25 percent off coupon on new years eve and picked up this set. the reviews are very good on it and it cost 9.00 w/ coupon. 4 philips and 4 slotted , the tips are magnetic. the metal hex drive on the end can accept a wrench or socket for more torque. never used screwdrivers with square handles ( all my others are old school craftsman ) just different but not bad. after a few days of use I am happy with them. lifetime warranty so no risk IMO.
I bought that compact filter wrench two days ago for my Goldwing. Haven't used it yet, but for 8 bucks, why not get one?Has anyone used the 3 finger "claw" style oil filter wrench from harbor freight?

How high do you jack up the car? I always just use cardboard b/c this kind of device will reduce the actual working space.
