How high do you jack up the car? I always just use cardboard b/c this kind of device will reduce the actual working space.
Usually just enough to get on jack stands. I'm usually under 200# so I can get under pretty good. Able to move my arms to get things done.

I hate crawling around

People are made differently. I also prefer more distance between my face and oil pan. Glad that it works well for you thou.

I had to shimmy under the wagon with only 6x6 blocks under the tires to fix a fuel line. The ground was also soft. One of those fix it where it was parked type deals.

That sucked. I'm just grateful that it was an easy patch.

In conclusion, I'm getting fat.

I use to fit under 53' trailers then someone on the left coast decided we should put skirts on all of them...............................

If you can't fit under 53 feet....

J/K I know what you're saying. I wish I pulled skirted trailers. These ribbed rail cans are hell on fuel mileage.

Well, the plastic finally cracked near a wheel, but I have to give it a PASS, since I think I've had it about 13 years.

Thinking of going with an upgrade, anyone have experience with either of the Icon creepers?
I had to replace mine too after about 15 years. One of the middle wheels did break in that time though. Found a pair of replacement wheels off the shelf at O'Reilly's.

I've only used it on concrete, but done most creepers **** on rough surfaces? :dunno:
I use mine out in the street which is gravel. its more smooth so I am lucky. I run into smalls from time to time but Its not like a skateboard wheel where I am totally stuck or stop suddenly. I could imagine on rough surface this little wheels are no fun and probably the larger offroad kinda creeper would suffice better...

I want my money back. I've only had this right angle drill for like 20 years and it quit working. Curious why the motor was working but the chuck not turning, I opened it up. The first thing I noticed or was reminded of was the original pastel orange sherbet color that a lot of HF tools used to be. This drill lost its sherbet orange and faded to a pale fleshy pink color many years ago. Closer inspection revealed the housing that holds the worm gear right angle bearing chuck mechanism together had broken which allowed just enough slop that the worm gear wasn't engaging. Am I sad, not really, it was kinda embarrassing when I had to break this thing out at a job site

I'm impressed with the metal shears ($59) in light gauge duct work stuff I've been using them on, definite pass. The cut off tool ($39) seems a little underpowered compared to my pneumatic AirCat. You also have to release trigger and wait a few seconds for it to start after blade stops in material which happens often. It's handy, not a complete fail but not a complete pass.

I have the Icon version of this one, and like it a lot. Far beefier, rolls better, more comfortable and I like the magnetic plates on either side of the headcushion for lights.

Anyone else have a pass/fail for the Maddox Disc Brake and Caliper Service Tool Kit? Its only $30 for ITC members for about one more week.
I have and use it every time I work on either mine or other's brakes. I use a wrench (22mm?) to push the piston in after snugging up the T handle. Nice assortment of disks with strong magnets allow for trouble free work on various vehicles. Definite pass for me.

Yeah those creepers are not bad. I have the cheap one on the right and sometimes when I use it, the bottom drags over slight stress relief cuts in my driveway slab. I am 208lbs so I would say it’s a definite pass. I will probably get the icon one since that has an even higher capacity!

Yeah - four bolts per wheel on a metal plate into a much-beefier chassis is a good thing for the wheels. On the old Pittsburgh, I managed to break one middle wheel off - I'll take the blame for that since I'm over 240# and rolled it routinely over (and back) the lip of my garage-to-driveway transition. There's no way in hell I'm hurting the Icon - zero flex or issues on that lip.

It's a definite "Pass" for me.

I now have it love it give it a pass to the tool creeper

If you were working around the wheels or underneath just toss the tool you are using, parts in it it’s all there

Handy pretty sturdy

Same. I love, love, LOVE this thing. I accidentally broke mine yesterday (let a tire and wheel flop over, caught a corner and broke off a wheel -- totally my fault), and I'm heading straight to the HF store after work to get a replacement.

Same. I have one, it seems to be well-made, and works fine. Nice assortment of disks; no idea if there are vehicles it doesn't cover but so far it's done the trick on grocery-getters.

Mine is probably 10 years old? It’s red which I believe was the color before the gray. Between me using it on automatics stuff and my son rolling around on it playing, I certainly got my money’s worth

Brand new item, weren't even put out on the floor yet & employees didn't know about them yet. Only comes in black so far. I'd say it's a PASS but it's a fail for me.

Seems sturdy, top hangs on a box, bottom has 3 magnets to keep it in place. Came with 3 spacers & screws that I didn't bother trying to figure out what they're for. Doesn't fit my M18 Compact/stubby with my Mid-Torque in the middle. Middle hole is the only large hole. I'm gonna return it, I wish it would have worked for me.

These are great. I picked one up yesterday. Only $14.99 if you have a Club membership. It came with 3 plastic spacers and longer screws to move the magnets out. I suppose that's to enable the tray to clear a specific cabinet or box that has a trim or overhang piece along the top edge that the upper lip catchers on? I put them on just to show everybody. Maybe someone on GJ knows more about how/where they're needed. 1674505306167.jpeg1674505234267.jpeg

I think your right. don't have that cart to try it on, but looking at a HF picture of one, it looks like that's what they're probably for.
It doesn't work on the carts because the top won't close. I use one on my 44" cabinet, but if you use the side tray on one end, you have to remove the handle from the other. I like the idea, but the execution and design leaves something to be desired...

What are the c-clamps and aluminum stock for, keep things centered? I realize it's only an inch off the ground and pretty safe. And looks like the boom extension is in the "1 ton" position. lol Pretty impressive for that thing.

In my book, the 2 ton engine hoist is a win. The casters ****, but it can lift my two biggest tools up. An 1800 Lb lathe is a cake walk to move. It struggles with my nearly 3000 Lb mill, but I was able to move it across my shop by myself.

How did you manage to get the hoist out from behind the mill once you moved it into the corner?

You can get a kit with over 20 pieces and both a L/H and R/H tool for about $20 on ebay. There's a bunch for sale.
