No need to, ducks. We want all the input we can get. We're not trying to shy away at all. The harder your make me work to justify my tool, the better a product I can offer. I mean it: thank you.
Hey ducksface, please understand these are just demo photos where we got to use one of our prototypes and get some examples for people that may want to know more about the tool. We are first offering the the tool in two lengths for 3/8" sockets, but already have the technical drawings done for 1/2" and 1/4" as well. As we are still in the R&D phase, and especially as we are a small start up, we're doing everything we can to make the tool that fits best for the majority of our customers. Thanks for your input.
To make a relevant case for this tool I propose changing the spark plugs in a '94 Camaro with a V8. Those pictures would really show a tool like this shining.
Finally read this thread again today and I have a few suggestions.Knurling, anyone?

Hi Farmall,
If our manufacturer stays true, we may be able to offer a COO with a USA stamp.
Out hope is to have everything USA made. If this changes we will of course let you know, we don't hold anything back with our tooling information exchange.

Awesome!
SAE sizes wouldn't be terrible either.
I recall discussing sizes like 19MM that work both ways.
We are trying to hold strong to the posted prices on the website. Keeping a domestic COO is the most difficult, but we are doing our best.
Use the prices posted on the website as the baseline we are shooting for.

Some mm and SAE are interchangeable. If we list a specific mm though, that's what it is officially specified for. Other sizes are in the works, the 16mm head to 12mm shaft (phrasing....) is the initial size we are introducing.
16mm allowed us to increase wall thickness without compromising versatility.
We all win and its less tooling to make.Ok, to throw a little more coal in the fire 16mm is a dead ringer for 5/8", get that 12mm up to 13mm and you are in the 1/2" SAE size making it both SAE and metric. We all win and its less tooling to make.
Then pair it up with a set of Metrinch sockets....... just kidding on this part.![]()

We thought about the 13 mm, however this is not as common in most smaller tool sets.
13mm / 1/2'' is way more common size than 12mm. If you guys could work it out it would do a lot better for you I think.
Really? I seem to have far more 13 mm wrench "orphans" than any other size.
Don't push to where the product suffers. I'd rather wait longer for something if waiting causes it to be better made.![]()
It's great to see innovative folks and USA made tools. I'm in for a set myself, what is the timeline or are they ready to ship yet?
Also, the 1/4 drive will be perfect for motorcycle guys. When every oz. counts and every bit of space is valuable it would be nice to use this with a wrench and leave the ratchet at home.
