Yes. The last 2 posts are on point. These are problem solvers, however, they solve a very rare (and potentially nonexistent) problem. I'm not saying they can't be used.

SO can you still get on the list, I'm not sure that I need them, but I want them and that trumps needing them any day.

I want a set. Looks like a good idea and supporting these two guys in this venture might lead to new ventures. I like it.

As l recall the price would be about $30 each in the initial estimates. A set of two reduced the price each a tiny bit.

I haven't seen the numbers since the USA move but I recall one of them saying it will be " about the same " .

For a guy that desires a sort of minimalist's tool kit this idea is to get a reduced space multi tool into the toolbox. For the guy who has a **** ton of everything and every other 'reduced space solution' under the sun it would just be another option.

I still say go with the Metrinch style hex sizes of future versions. Being able to market it as SAE and metric at the same time would appeal to more potential buyers. 13/16mm is 1/2 " - 5/8" equivilents. Now you get the airpane guys and they need small solutions.

Notice how he's completely ignoring the multitude of price questions?

This thing is going to be expensive.

HEXtension Paired Set (long and short) $59.95
HEXtension Standard $34.95
HEXtension Short $29.95

* Prices do not include shipping and handling.

Hey Guys,

Sorry I wasn't ignoring the price. The prices on the website are the standard prices.

We are going to do our best and offer a deal for the first orders through the forum, even though we incurred additional cost during production.

once again, this is definitely a useful tool, just rarely needed, I can recall situations where this would have gotten me out of a jam, if you already have locking extensions, this is the next logical addition, if you don't have locking extensions, put your money towards one or two of those first, because that is something you really need full time.

Since they are made in the USA now, I will be buying a set in the near future. I can see many uses in my line of work. Also does not hurt to support a USA made product!

Those that are wondering, pricing is as follows: (not counting the discount to pre orders stated above.)

pricing

HEXtension Paired Set (long and short)
HEXtension Standard
HEXtension Short

$59.95
$34.95
$29.95

Hey slick, thanks for mentioning; you gave me the perfect opening to get back on here and give everyone an update. What we have is not a group buy, but a pre-order list. If you have not yet done so you'll want to PM Shaun_Logica and include your email to get on the list.

The good news is that as of last week, we received our first full production order. We are now just doing QC testing on all the units and tightening the last few nuts and bolts on the web store. Once that's done we'll be able to direct everyone on the pre-order list to the page where they can get the discounted pricing.

The most important thing to note is ***WE ARE CLOSING THE PRE-ORDER LIST THIS SATURDAY, JANUARY 31***. If you are not on the list by then, we will be unable to extend to you our discounted intro pricing. Anyone who is still interested, please contact Shaun_Logica as soon as you can.

Again, it's been a long, long road to get here. Actually, the road still stretches (as I fill out more tax paperwork for us to commence local sales). I know I've said it before, but I mean it each and every time: thank you all for your continued support and input. We never could have come this far without it.

Yup, I confirm you're on the list. Believe me, we're trying to get these out to you all as quick as we can. Manufacturing had some hold ups over the holidays, hence the delay in final production. The good news is I now literally have boxes stacked and ready for final inspection and shipping. Very, very soon!

Pretty cool to see this coming to fruition, especially since you guys have been on here basically from the beginning stages. Can't wait to get mine! In happy to support you guys after seeing all of the work and time you have put in to get this from an idea to a product ready for market. If the tool saves my bacon once in a while it'll pay for itself, and maybe we'll see more innovative ideas from you in the future.

Hey guys,

Thanks for the pre-order confirms. I am adding these in as we go. Please make sure to include your e-mail as I will send out a blast once we are ready to launch.

I will fallback to your username for a PM, however there will be a delay as there is a limit to sending mass PM's on the forum. It's much easier to complete the correspondence via e-mail, especially with the large amount of interest we have.

Thanks again for your support, we are looking forward to getting these into eager hands soon.

Hello all,

The moment has finally arrived: we have put together our web store and are sending out a special URL invite to those on the pre-order list. If you did not provide us with your e-mail when you pre-ordered, please check your PM box. Only those listed on the pre-order list will be allowed to complete their order for the special pricing. We did our best to stay true to our initial pricing promise. We will keep the page active during this week. Those that missed the pre-order are more than welcome to order via our regular store page which will be launched later this week.

Please make sure to place your order soon, as we will close the page once we hit our quota. We ask that you be patient in receiving your order; as this is a bulk order, we will attempt to process everything over the weekend and ship your tools next Monday, February 9th.

As a side note, we are extremely happy with the fit and finish of our final product. What we have noticed is that the square relief for the socket driver insertion did receive more chrome plating on some HEXtensions. Due to this, it is possible that an oversized socket wrench head may have difficulty being inserted when you first receive the tool. We have not seen any issues with the more quality consistent drivers from Craftsman, Snap-On, etc. The relief will wear down and allow ease of driver installation over time. This does not affect the overall function of the tool, but we want our customers to be aware of a possible “break in” period.

Again, thank you for your support. We value your feedback and input. Please make sure to e-mail us with your questions or concerns at any time.

Happy Wrenching!
Shaun & Andrew

Just ordered mine through PayPal--could have used the longer one on a Cressida we were working on today. Looking forward to having these in my top drawer!
