Most of my stuff is 15-30 year's old. Ya see all them cord's. Hell, I got no idea how old the power saw on the left is. I bet it weighs 50 lb. I hate to have to use that.
Just from memory, the only thing newer is the power saw on the right, and the right angle grinder.
The little cordless drill up front has long been dead. But it is representing my 18v cordless impact that I just today dropped off at Milwaukee for repair. I upgraded from the original nicad's to the lithium's. But this keeps killing the lithiums for some reason, and has no power now. Won't even bust a lug nut loose. The tech said he was pretty sure it was the switch not letting it get full power.
So anyway. Here's my stuff. Again. Ya see all them cord's.
I'm trying to get a video to load. But I can's figure out how to do quicktime. I hate quicktime.

OK. I got tired of messing with the QuickTime movie and just shot another video on my cell phone.
If a picture is worth a thousand word's, what is a video worth.
Don't forget to watch it HD. Hell, I think this cell phone takes better video than my camera.

Fun little thread here. Have both M18 and M12 tools. They really are perfect for fixing stuff on the go. And this new Fuel lineup is really challenging my "wanter".
I know threads are worthless without pics so I'll try and get a picture of my M18 stuff tomorrow. Just ordered a some more M18/M12 stuff the other day. I have the M12 grease gun right now and I like it a lot. Wish I would have gotten the M18 instead, only for the extra features.
Throwing out the idea of possibly selling a bare tool 2652 (M18 1/2" Impact with Pin Detent) and 2662 (M18 1/2" Compact Impact with Pin Detent). Both are used but in good working condition. Anyone interested? PM me first then I'll make an official "classified" ad and do it right.

I am heading to HD here in a couple hours... I am TORN between the M18 drill and hackzall kit or just the M12 hackzall.... I have a bosch 18v drill and impact kit that I will be replacing with Milwaukee.. Just not sure if I want to do it now or wait.... I HAVE TO get a hackzall today as I am TIRED of cutting EMT my hand and have a ton more to run in the coming weeks. I think the M18 will be overkill for that but I would rather always have to much power over not enough. I know I will wind up with both eventually I just have to decide which to get today.... I kick myself I missed the $149 sale in January on the M18 kit....

If I could wait for it to come out I would go that route but I am just too impatient and want it today... LOL. I am not cutting tons of it and I have no issue carrying extra batteries and a charger if need be. It's all smaller conduit. I think eventually I will end up going with the fuel but for now I am just going with the plain.... We have a HUGE job coming up with running all the wiring and air in a new building. Looks like about a 2 month project so I think when that hits with all the OT I will but the fuel line.

If its conduit use the M18 bandsaw or even the m12 bandsaw...
M12 band saw works well, very well indeed and cuts smooth. Get extra band blades to keep on hand when you find them.

Well I am officially a Milwaukee person now.... The drill feels much "torquer" than my Bosch but the plastic feels a little cheaper than my Bosch. But I'm sticking with it none the less... Got the M18 drill and hackzall for 179 at HD.
I will be buying an M18 impact bare from Amazon and looking at a few of the M12 tools this week also.

I don't think so either. I am ordering a fuel M18 fuel impact but my question is does it use the same battery? I don't see where it calls for a different battery... I use the impact constantly so I decided to go with the fuel for that. Plus I'm going to get the M12 impact and drill for the smaller jobs.

The Fuel impact has a 1-3 power setting on it, you may not need the M12 impact once you try that M18 Fuel...

That was one of the features that sold me on it but the reason for looking at the M12 also was shear size and bulk of carrying it with. I know there will be times the 12 will be more than enough so instead of carting more then I have to up and down a ladder....

I'm always buying tools but now I am about convenience. I carry to many different brands there for way more batteries and chargers than I need. 3 years ago I was told to go with Milwaukee but was stubborn and went to Bosch... But now I see how nice it is with all the traveling I am doing.

I remember reading from another member here that he loves his m12 fuel 3/8 impact with a xc battery. For the size and power I think it would be good too.

I'm kind of torn on going with that or the 1/4 hex..... I don't really have a need for just the 3/8 since I have the adapter but am still doing my research

Time to get everything now buddy.
The only thing I'm concerned about is my Bosch feels a little more solid. But I'm sure once I use the Milwaukee tomorrow I will be sold.

Nothing wrong with bosch. They build a great dishwasher.
The thing I was most impressed with were their drill bits. I bought a VERY small index of common sizes to have in the bag and they have held up amazingly well.

Hehe yeah I'm trying to figure out what I want for my 12v line. The Dewalt has the best grip I think but there not brushless yet and don't have a 4.0ah battery. But I like there new Mac line up and the 3 blub led.
The Bosch were rated really well.
The m12 are still nice. The fuel line still has the best spec on paper. The grip is one of the thickest of all them.
The m18 fuel grip is awesome. The m12 fuel has a fat part on the bottom. But let me tell you, the m12 fuel hex has saved my *** in jobs working over head. Also, i have a belt holster for it and i can wear it all day without noticing it's there. I can't do that with the m18. the light weight and not having to bend down and pick the gun up all the time sure saves your body and time. I counted one day how many times i put down and picked up the gun and it was well over 260.

Dont get me wrong, bosch makes some great tools. I had a chance to use the brand new bosch impact with the 1/2 square drive and 1/4 hex that fits inside it. It's a solid gun with a lot of power.

Drill bits are cool but the actual drills and divers, impact and sds rotary hammer drills that you use the bits with will make a difference too
. Hilti does not cost that much for no reason. But I won't get into hilti. I own a few big hilti models and I still choose Milwaukee. I like Bosch drill bits too and have some of there sets and I agree with you.
When you use that Milwaukee let us know what you think about it vs Bosch using hour bits. Please buddy
