Damn, your pictures make you like a tool polisher. Get em dirty and use them! I sure hope you get to use the guns you mentioned as well!

Here you go.

I picked up a couple of them too. Going to mount one outside once the rain stops for a few days.

Thanks, looks great.

I'd have to mount on a concrete basement wall - shouldn't be too bad I guess.

Got a ton of extra lumber/moulding that I could get out of the way - maybe even throw some plywood across and make a shelf or two out of it.

The plywood shelf idea is a good one. That's what my bottom 2 shelves are. Made it easier to organizer smaller pieces and get them out of the way.

I am somewhat of a tool polisher, but I do need to start getting them dirty for sure. The guns are probably my most used tools!

Only problem is I'd have to rip some makeshift (garbage) cabinetry that the old homeowners left to make room for it. Might be more of a headache than it's worth hmmm.

What'd you span them at - 6 ft?

I think i put them around 4ft apart if I remember right. The ones I do outside the shop I want to do 2-3 feet apart but I have 2 sets (4 pieces) to put up out there so I have more room for a bigger variety.

Snap On makes an underhood light that uses their 7.2v or 14.4v batteries. Does Milwaukee make one? I haven't seen one, but there are a lot of products in this line!

Also, is there a huge difference between the fuel and non fuel tools? Is there a difference in the batteries between them?

No difference in batteries.. Fuel tools are brushless and digitally controlled. The motors in them are actually a/c motors instead of the regular DC motors in brushed tools. More efficient, longer run times, less friction & heat, and higher torque ratings are the immediate benefits. Longer tool life is another.

2467 arriveth. Haven't used it yet but was initially surprised by its large size, so I pulled out my Nextec to compare.

Milwaukee obviously gets the nod for OAH of the head itself. But the Milwaukee is longer & surprisingly big around.

Some are saved boxes. Some have tools in them I didn't put in the tool box like the m-Spector 360. Then I have a small pile of 1/2" fuel impacts and 2897-22 kits that I need to put up on CL and eBay. So all of the above somewhat lol.

Didn't seem worthy of a new thread, but what do you guys think of this?

It just started oozing the first time I used it. It looked worse when it happened, but doesn't seem to still be losing grease. I'm still in the return period but I don't want to do that over a little excess grease getting expelled.

I've had that on most of the 2753's I've had and sold. I think they just put a little too much in some of them.

Got these guys from Zoro yesterday. Didn't get to post a picture until today.

The things that amaze me about them is they are really heavy and solid for being so small and 12V. They are also the most civil tools I've ever run. They are whisper quiet when they aren't actively cutting. I thought something was wrong with the circular saw when I first span it up, however it goes right through a 2x6.

Now to start planning a big unistrut project to make use of the bandsaw. I did a few test cuts in some threaded rod, bar stock and a crappy wrench that comes with box furniture and it went through everything easy with little noise or mess.

You'll love that bandsaw. I'm a plumbing contractor. My kid brother, and business partner, brought this tinker toy into a new restaurant we were plumbing. We've cut 100's of deer of 3/8" all thread and unistrut with it and I don't know how we lived without it.

Can someone give me the quick and dirty on Milwaukee tools? Is it a home depot house brand? Are they known for being extra durable or something? What is the appeal? I am considering one of their large toolboxes, and I may decide to become a fellow Milwaukee tool addict if they are of good quality.

Rigid is the HD house brand, Milwaukee is one of the nicest contractor grade tools around, when it comes to the cordless stuff. Very powerful, excellent batteries and chargers, so far the only cordless tools I've used that are viable replacements for corded stuff. Overkill for a diy guy like me (with some big projects) but bad tools are my biggest pet peeve, so I buy all milwaukee cordless.

Might of been me, if so my pleasure. I got mine earlier in the week. Was surprised because I got no shipping email, day it was delivered was first day on the website it showed shipped yet no tracking info.

I bought this 2655 impact wrench about a year ago, for field use at work on heliportable diamond drills where every minute counts. I bought the pin locking version as I wanted no potential for dropping a socket down the hole when changing clamp dies. At home I would much prefer a normal split ring locking style. Anyhow, the 210 ft/lbs is definitely no joke, perhaps even conservative. Unreal for something the size of a driver.

Bobcat lug nuts on for 10 years - check
Dodge pickup lugs torqued to 140 ft/lbs 3 years prior and rusty- no problem

I often don't even turn the air compressor on anymore.

Hi
I have a problem; I have a ½ Bosch impact gun 44nm / 100nm / 185nm,
but is too powerful for working on my bike, so I am looking for a small 3/8 impact.

The ones I am looking at are the,

Milwaukee M12 CIW38 23nm / 158nm

Milwaukee M12 CIW14 13nm / 56nm

Bosch GDS 10.8 V-EC ??? / 115nm

Do not know the Bosch lower Torque.

I love my Bosch but, I have been looking at Milwaukee for 10.8v
Has anyone got the M12 3/8 sd, is the low end power low enough,
Or would the M12 ¼ sd be better for the job, low power, but has
it got enough at the top end.
The Bosch is a good impact, cannot find the lower torque,

Thanks! I'll read through those.

I wanted to ask if anyone has the Milwaukee tool box. And if so, do you like it? I'm looking for a good quality tool chest to go along with my Kobalt one, which is packed to the gills.

https://www.milwaukeetool.com/hand-tools/storage/48-22-8500

I think that's the only big tool box they have. But hopefully someone here knows: I have heard that they've got a couple more big toolboxes, in the works. Can anyone confirm? If they do, I may want to hold out and get the bigger one. That one that I linked is 46", so maybe they're going to come out with a 56" or a 72" or something that I'd be happier with. Anyone know?
