Just took the plunge.. or should I say Santa did.. Purchased the 2897-22 kit with the 2704-20 1/4 impact and the 2753-20 1/2 hammer drill.. M18 Fuel.. Replacing a lead sled 0522-20 Power Plus 3/8 drill purchased at the Milwaukee outlet in Brookfield in 2003ish.. refurbished. Its still going, just need more reliable power these days..
I just bought this kit and love it already.
Here is my latest score. Apparently someone had opened the miter saw box and ripped off on of the 9.0 batteries. They were out of stock on the 9.0 batteries so they did one better and gave me a 7 1/4" 9.0 kit for 49.99 to make up the price difference. I already have the fuel skill saw so this new one will be sold which should bring the cost down even further but as it is after using the one key promo I got:
The miter saw
2 9.0 batteries
2 rapid chargers
7 1/4" fuel circular saw
All for just over 500 out the door. I'm tempted to sell the miter saw as I really was only interested in the 9.0 batteries but I got such a damn good deal on all of it I may just keep it, I'm sure I'll use it some day.

What stand do you guys recommend to go along with the Milwaukee miter saw?
How much for the skill saw?
It actually works pretty well in a pinch.
