You grabbing it?
I like mine
I use the 5.0 on it and 9.0 on my waterpump

Air tank probably wouldn't sink to too many before the pressure drop enough not to run a gun. Plus once that happened I still need a way to fill it again
Ridgid already has one on the market takes twin batteries and they work in sequence;
And I just read today Dewalt has one now too. Havent seen that yet
Ign also ask about the max pressure
I go see if can pull up some specs and a review
In my experience, nailers consume very little air (otherwise, pancake compressors wouldn't cut it!). Yes, the pressure drop means you may have to adjust the gun. Not a big deal if you pay attention.
A 60V battery will last over 3 times as long as an 18 with the same A-hr rating. Watts is what matters. If 2 60 v 9 a-hr batteries only give 15 minutes, then I was generous with my 3-4 estimate. A pair of 5's would give you 5 minutes.
I have a 58V mower. It is great. Doesn't do my whole yard, though. Battery is pretty big. Can't imagine trying to do it on 18V, it would take 6 charge cycles to do justvthe front yard of a modest lot.
Maybe Milwaukee will prove me wrong. I hope they do. But I just don't see an M18 compressor happening
Just as an FYI not necessarily for you but for others reading this:
I know that some of the 40V/60V lawn tool batteries are higher capacity but the 60V Dewalt batteries are 1/3 the listed Ah rating in 60V mode. For example, the 60V/20V 9Ah battery is only 9Ah in 20V mode. It is 3Ah in 60V mode. They just have 15 18650 cells in them and are either paralleling or seriesing them to get the two different voltage ranges.
There's the same amount of energy in a Dewalt 60V/20V 9Ah battery as in a Milwaukee 9.0.

Yes.. it's in a cardboard display in the front isle by the tool section.. packaged for sale with both 9.0's inside.
I get the point of the compressor for running nailers and things but honestly I probably wouldn't buy one. I want just an inflator (maybe a blow gun built in) around the size of a drill. I want it when a tire goes flat a 1/4 mile from the barn. I need enough air to get to the barn. Ideally it would also be light and small enough to take four-wheeling or even Mt biking. Also for when the tire pressure on the car is a little low. If I have serious work to do I will get out my compressor or a portable air tank. The inflator should be super portable! I must be capable of 80 psi as this is what load range e tires are. It doesn't have to go from empty but from 40 to 80 in a few minutes would be reasonable. It must have a locking trigger!!!! If I was designing it it would have 2 settings. High flow at 15-20 psi (blow gun and air mattress...). And low flow at 100 psi (tires). You could do this with a two stage set up. Initial turbine for the low pressure. For high pressure the low pressure is then fed into a piston compressor. Even the $5 12 volt plug ones can get up to 80 psi. That's asking a lot out of a compact compressor. Duty cycles can be high, but only a few can put out like that. I wouldn't expect a cordless inflater/compressor to go from 0-60 PSI without needing at least one break from the action.
It would be heavy, expensive, and wouldn't last long on a charge. If it was only one cylinder, they'd have to go absolutely balls-out to get it to last under those conditions.
I'd buy one that can handle half that duty, and I'd pay a fair amount for it, too. Perfect for around the yard stuff when I don't feel like breaking out the Powertank.
I'm chomping at the bit for one of those chainsaws, though.
I'm excited fellas. I have the mid-torque 3/8" impact coming and the 4.5" grinder. I love the big boy 1/2" because I have yet to find a bolt it can't free if the clearance is there. However, it will snap M14 bolts with no problem. That can be a problem...
Why would Milwaukee make a pancake compressor? They are a cordless tool company and although the compressor would be cordless they don't sell air tools they sell battery power tools.
The inflator is a great tool that they 100% should make and hopefully will.
We wanted a heat gun, soldering iron, underhood light & staple gun and they delivered. I just hope the inflator is in the works too.

All the web stores have the 2x9.0 with rapid for $199 if you dont want to pay sales tax.
Got my Toolup SBF stuff, 9.0 and 2x5.0 were in retail packages.
Yep I don't need anymore 9.0's but tempted. Plus the $85 ea on ToolUp's July BF was better.
I just received a Rapid Charger from Redding Fasteners on ebay, $29.95 shipped. Appears to be a kit take-out but looks new.
Theoretically.
Welcome to MA (Milwaukee Annomous). Please state your name. Remember admitting you have a problem is the first step to healing. [emoji23]Wow always heard there was a lot of love out there for Milwaukee. Just recently got my first Milwaukee too, a right angle drill that I found at a garage sale for $25. The Chuck was rusted open. Motor was fine. Removed the Chuck and after a 1 week bath in vinegar and then on blaster I got it to work perfectly. great drill!
Will post a pic if I can. Pics from phone too big

I have carried a 3 gallon hot dog compressor around. 3 trips from the outlet to the tire to get it pumped. I have also had to drag the 26 gallon compressor 1/4 mile from the barn when nothing else was available. If it has a tank it is heavy. I want something basically like the Ryobi but built to M18 standards. Super portable and convenient. When a compressor isn't. If I actually have to walk to whatever it is I really don't want to carry anything with a tank. As I mentioned before I would carry it when I went ATVing and such. Anything bigger that a drill and that wouldn't work. If I want alot of air I will go to the compressor.Well obviously a bulk of questions have been answered by the time I finish my day.
Both a framing nailer and coil roofing nailer wear the red badge. Though no small tank cordless compressor will ever run one. and best I see is that Milwaukee never did have a pneumatic finish nailer 18 or 16 that I can find.
So I really can understand this desire for tiny handheld inflator but seriously can't see Milwaukee coming thru with such an item to compete with something like Ryobi has on the market.
Has been a lot of recommendation for using a plain pressurized air tank with its sorely limited and its generally non rechargeable capacity for off site work and I am sure one these little hand held air inflator could recharge one in only gawd know when, so why not a self contained unit that does it all?
If you ever often have to lug a pancake or hot dog compressor around much or run out long hoses never mind having a circuit breaker issue or shared outlet to contend with other workers you can easily see the benefit of a lighter cordless unit, especially for a small job
Read the reviews on all the feedback...Plumbers are loving the idea of small compact cordless tank unit pressurize their system and check for leaks. Obviously if they offer one you don't have to buy one but think outside the box here.
Honestly I have had many small inflators most are total **** and either just quit or overheat and burn up
And maybe I'm the only one but personally for my needs around the farm and my own garage I would much rather have a tiny pressurized tank air no matter how small 1- 3gal to inflate a tire than any continuous run pressurizing unit. If only to cut down the noise [emoji38]
But to each their own
Oh and thks for other leads on vendors with the 9. 0 pkg deals [emoji106]

Does anybody know if they are closing out the Milwaukee nailers on the M18 line? Why would they be doing this? Are they coming out with the new lineup of nailers or discontinuing them totally?
In theory, theory and practice are the same, but in practice they are not.
i used to tell this to alot of software engineers.

Any idea when those new Milwaukee tools we saw a month or so ago will hit the streets ?
Sounds like you're really shooting from the hips here![]()

the tool dribble/release is supposed to start in September...
