Scratch that. CPO dropped the price to $149 so I picked up the M12 Stubby 3/8 with the protective boot for $162

Hey all, I'm about to order the m12 inflator.
Does anyone have any good (or bad) experiences with this?
Also, would I be better off with one 6.0 battery or two 4.0?
This will be used for helper air bag inflation and occasional truck/dirtbike/atv tire inflation.
Also kctyphoon, congrats on the new-old addition!![]()
I like it a lot, havent put on a quick fill adapter like some. Any XC is fine, I have a 6.0 on mine but all my XCs are 6.0. Its had the same battery on it for 3-4 months, I use it quite a bit and theres still 2 bars left maybe. Topped off maybe 15 tires and filled 2 completely.
Dang that's pretty good!
I'll go with one 6, thanks!

Lmao, why are they just lying aroud your house??? Do you have the new stubby? What’s sad, is that sitting in my living room recliner, i think i can see more Milwaukee tools in my house than that pic, without even getting up. You’re catching on though.
ok, lets play a new game:
- in how many *locations* do you store milwaukee power tools.
- how many specific tools do you have duplicated at all locations?
i have four locations. the M12 drill is the only one currently in all four locations. next week, there will also be a M12 "screwdriver" in all four locations.
so yes this is getting crazy. My wife has 3 of the 18V vacuums, so she is a carrier of the virus as well.
I think you're better off with 2 batteries than 1. I use a 4.0 on my inflator and it lasts a long time. If you have 2 batteries, one can be fully charged, ready to go for when the other is discharged.

I will add... I am not allowed to leave tools all about my wifes house (notice how I worded that). I must organize open projects with some sort of tote to store tools.
Do any of you have to do that?... or can you just explode your house with piles of tools?

I can if I feel like opening up Pandora's box

Finally!!
LMAO, me too. Watching TV I see M12 Fuel v2 hammer drill, hex impact, v1 hex screw driver, M12 mag light, M12 speaker, M12 lantern, M4 screw driver, Milwaukee head lamp, M12 flash light, M12 stick light, M18/12 rapid station, bits, sockets, tape measures, back pack and tech bag all full of red. 11 packout pieces in a stack and one old style organizer.
BTW my wife still complains about the wall kobalt tool cabinet I mounted in TV room.

Generic picture but... I had to grab a drain adapter at HD today... and walked out with this under my arm. Wife was waiting in the car...
She asked... "Is that why we had to drive 9 miles out of our way to get that drain adapter?"
I said... well... I wanted a little saw.

I have 4 x 6.0AH batteries... will donate one to the saw.
Thanks for letting me know that detail. I still have NOT put the blade on. Considering getting one with more teeth.
I have one of those, it's awesome. Nice and light, it will cut 2x material. Takes 2 seconds to deploy. Mine stalls out unless I use an XC battery, though.
I'm thinking of getting the 12V oscillating multi tool. What sort blades fit it? For bonus points which brand corded tools share the same blade attachment as the Milwaukee 12v?
(Basically want Milwaukee 12v battery to cut near power outlets I'd like to isolate and use the same blades on a more powerful corded model for larger jobs. Not wedded to Milwaukee for corded tools).
Anyone know if the new M18 6.0Ah "High Output" model is more powerful than a 9.0Ah "High Demand"? They both use 18620 batteries I believe. Based on the descriptions, it looks like the new 6.0Ah HO is indeed more powerful despite being lower capacity. They claiming 50% more power and runtime and 50% cooler than the 6.0Ah XC model.
They're also claiming the new "High Output" models are designed increase the power output in cold temps under 0F. Not sure I will buy a 9.0Ah now, especially since I have a Vexilar K-drill. Unless all the features of the "High Demand" model(s) are found in "High Output" models as well.
Same here. I found one for $72 after the coupon, but I happened to choose a seller who was a scammer and ebay cancelled my order. Now I'm just gonna wait until the HO models come down in price I guess. The 6.0Ah HO is already on HD's website, $199.00 for two or $149 for one.Of course you post this when I just purchased a 9.0 battery in the recent ebay sale for $76, oh well. I wanted the 9.0 for my gen 2 blower and the angle grinder. The 6.0 are showing up at $200 per 2 pack on eBay currently, I don’t see any singles.
