Hi all!
Is this type of tools not used in USA?
www milwaukeetool eu / m12-fuel-sub-compact-percussion-drill-with-removable-chuck / m12-fpdx-eu / (sorry for this kind of link, i have not enough posts to write it in usual way)
Previous version BPDX also have no corresponding analogue on milwaukeetool.com
As for me, it would nice to buy such tool in some USA store, cause I do not know where to buy Milwaukee tools in Europe with so big discounts as USA stores offer from time to time.
Those swappable attachment tools arent that popular in the states, though I thought Milwaukee was going to bring the next gen one here.
Personally I dont like them, would rather just have all the tools instead of swapping heads. To me its a gimmicky idea which would cause more frustration than benefit and prone to more failures.

I've seen some speculation that some tools are allowing a bit more room around the 12.0s possibly for something even larger in the future.
Interesting 'cause the water pump has this rubber spacer that slides out to make for even more room
Larger batteries are coming
Larger batteries are coming
That's sort of a given, but I see them making existing sizes more powerful/efficient, such as upgrading the compact 2.0 to 21700 cells. I know many things are stationary so battery weight isn't as much of an issue, but the usefulness of a big battery diminishes when it becomes to big to use comfortably. I have a feeling given the option, think many would swap out their 9ah battery for the new 6.0 HO. Less weight, but more available power.
Ideally I'd like to have 2 compact batteries, 1 12ah, & the rest 6ah HO. Get rid of all my 5s & 9s.
edit: product idea! a cable that could daisy chain multiple batteries together (maybe a switch for parallel or series), then plug into the tool
I'm good with M18 5.0,6.0,9.0,12.0 Gimme cheap M12 compact 3.0,4.0 or a M12 HO 9.0

I also prefer separate tools but not in case when I need to put all of them into my bag "just in case". This tool could be handy in some tight-space situations (European cabinets are made in a different way than US one, it might be the reason why this type of tools are not popular in USA). But in my opinion it is still overpriced now: I found it only in 1 or 2 shops with price about 330 USD for kit with heads and batteries, it is possible to buy it without heads (why someone might need such variant?!) but no offers with heads and without charger and batteries.I can't even stand things like snap ring pliers w interchangeable tips, or even the magnetic 1/4 hex bit holders - I'd rather have a complete 1/4" hex SHANKED bit that I swap out.
Looks like I am buying the new M18 Fuel Circ saw 12.0x2 kit on next 15% coupon. My friend wants to buy my 2731 saw ASAP. Wah wah but the new one is bigger and heavier.
But I am not happyI have to lay the 12.0 down on its side in my battery drawer.

being that I sell a bunch of different ones on my flea mkt tool table, most are pretty bright @ 250 lumens or so but generally they are also cheaply made. Though one in the picture though is a metal cased HF Quantam light. Its is pretty decent. So finally got some time to pay a little attention to this lineup of USB rechargeable lights. Liking the swivel head flashlight a lot
Now does anybody have the USB rechargeable 550-Lumen Pivoting Flood Light yet? (HD says backordered, ACME Tool says preorder)
Or it is just the rage right now to have that little magnetic clip light Rover because it comes with the xtra battery offer which seems like a pretty decent deal![]()
But what's the fanboy consensus here guys... is it any good?![]()
I was just reading reviews on that Rover pocket light at the HD sight, seems the magnet's holding power was the biggest complaint over there.
And did I read that here that at least one said one unit didn't seem to charge right and was returning/exchanging it.
Along with my M18 and M12 lights I have so many little LED battery lights around now really I have to wonder if I need morebeing that I sell a bunch of different ones on my flea mkt tool table, most are pretty bright @ 250 lumens or so but generally they are also cheaply made. And did have a case of 500 lumen LED mini floodlights on a swivel stand (used 3 AA batteries @ 2.5 hr run time) that I sold out of fast this summer around $20 ea. People were hot on them. I looked around but don't seem to have one for myself.
I do see there is a 2 year warranty on the batteries. What about the rest of it?

Just seen this from another thread
Geez ain't this sad in a way...
Looks to be a total clone. Guess when the FUEL'S came out...they let it go and turned it out
https://www.amazon.com/dp/B074P53VYN/?tag=atomicindus08-20
Have you noticed Husky is offering one in the holiday swing area of HDs right now? Not saying it's an exact clone, I just think it's funny people kinda scoffed at the concept at first, now everyone wants on board.

I must have been asleep ! When did they come out with the M12 3.0 Ah Compact battery ? Pricey little devils !
I've got the m12 XC battery that I run my 1/4" impact with at work. I use it for everything from screws to drill bits all day and can usually kill the battery each day. I've been looking a little at the m12 6.0 battery. Do you guys think it will be much better? Is it worth the extra cash? I would like it to last longer and if it has more power that's great but not to concerned about power...
But I am not happyI have to lay the 12.0 down on its side in my battery drawer.
They've been out for over a year, along with the 6.0 XC packs. And yeah the price is crazy high. I can pick up 6.0s on ebay for the price of a 3.0 pack. I'd like to have one or two for my heated gear but not at those prices.
The main reason I went with M12 was light weight so I am not about to buy any of the XC packs.
If I could find a used M12 1.5 cheap, I think I would try rebuilding it myself.

I just got the Milwaukee 2554-20 M12 3/8” Impact.
Anyone know where I can get a rubber boot for it? Having a hard time finding one, but maybe it’s just me. LOL
