I've personally found AvE's tool teardowns and reviews on youtube to be both informative and entertaining. Not sure if he has a background in manufacturing or engineering but he seems fairly knowledgable.

Converted my new Quik Lok string trimmer to a brush cutter this weekend and took on some brush on my property. The trimmer never hesitated once and was cutting through thick blackberry bushes, upto 3" stumps/trees and other general thick brush.

I have done it in the past with a Stihl FS110R and the M18 Fuel had more power and made it much easier. The best part was not smelling like gas afterwards. I did it all on 1.5 charges on a 12ah battery and would have gone through 2+ tanks on gas on the Stihl.

Details on that blade and converting it? Looks cool and dangerous.

Dont know if theres gonna be anything besides the $25 off $100 on the select tools which is out now. Usually the HD deals are basic tools that most of us dont want.

Thought all the new Milwaukee tool storage & carts would go on sale but they dont seem to be unless it changes next week. Only 1 store in RI even has them, and 2 stores in MA. No idea why they havent found their way to all HD stores.

Looks like you can cut rafter overhangs from the ground as well :lol_hitti

I was just using the hedge trimmer for most of my clearing, but if that is easy enough, I may need to look into a 2nd trimmer head.

Thats exactly what i did. I got a second trimmer head so one is now dedicated brush cutter.

I got everything on amazon. M10x1.25 Locknut LEFT HAND THREAD, cup and blades.

I got a 10pack of nuts i could send the extras out to anyone looking to convert for the cost of shipping. PM ME, NOT MAKING THIS A FS POST!

I used my hedge attachment on my new trimmer this weekend. Amazing!!! I got to places I never could before. I used it with an extension too. Cuts through hedges like butter. I love the angle adjustment too.

I’m only an m12 guy as of now. Don’t have a ton of spending money so priority would prob be a stubby impact. Have yet to decide if i should go with 3/8 or 1/2. Yes I know there is a thread about it and yes I read it and yes I still can’t make up my mind. In any event, a sale on the stubby would be nice. After that I would like to get the new m12 light with the free 6ah batt bc that’s just a sweet deal. Have till July 31 for that though. I did think about making a tripod that could work with my rover floodlight bc I don’t use it enough (only when I work under the car on the floor) but it won’t be as adjustable and that will piss me off.

I am looking for a 2737 jig saw. lowest I see is about 160$ on ebay (new, and the same price for refurb on cpo, when they are in stock). if they would just release a general 15% off coupon (remember those days?), it would be about 136$. I can wait, but if it went on sale somewhere for about that, or a bit more with a free battery, I would likely pull the trigger.

anyway, if anyone comes across a deal . . . . . . .

Need better headlamp.
18v stubby impact wrench 500ft lb like my aircat
Long neck m12 ratchet.
M18v tower light same size as the new m12.

Cordless m18 compressor as Dewalt ones.
Better M18 jobsite radio quality sound like or better then Dewalt ToughSystem Radio and Charger DWST08810.. ( the best sound quality of all power tools brands)

Why can't Milwaukee make better cordless nailers then Dewalt???

Packout bin, finally since Ridgid has had it forever, should only take till 2021 to be released :lol_hitti

So what now the wall mount is heavy duty enough for anything just not the organizers...

the wall part only needs to be as heavy duty as the base of the box, right? you could make the wall part out of titanium, but as some point, the clips on the bottom of the box are going to give out.

I think that, realistically, the organizers are it, unless the wall mount includes a shelf for the back of the box to sit on to help support the weight.

I admit that I am beginning to consider how to store these things when not in use. some kind of deep cabinet with adjustable set-back shelves, so there is room for that handle without wasting vertical space for it.

Seems the wall mounts and dolly were sent back to the drawing board as they sucked or poorly designed, seems to happen too often these days.

The packout radio looks huge, its got to do more than just be a radio.

no new battery for that lawnmower someone mentioned?

Doesn’t look like it. The compartment for the new circ saw is sized for the 12.0 with no room to spare.

Also someone was saying the M12 surge has the same torque as the M18 model. Crazy.
