I really only wanted the toolbox, but it is more expensive to order the toolbox alone than to get the master tool set with the toolbox off the nepros.net site. The prices are a hell of a bargain if you look at what the stuff goes for in Japan.

Yeah, I know. I was considering doing the same thing, I only really want the box.
I'm worried how much the shipping will be from Nepros.net once the new site goes live, ARRRRRRGGHHHHH decisions,decisions...![]()
Hi, I'm sorry if this statement/question seems ignorant, but I checked out Nepros' pricing, seems at the same levels of Snap On. SK and Proto seems to be reasonable pricing on amazon and ebay, is Nepros that much better. Some of the wrenches and such seems really high quality, but a complete set of wrench is about $300 to $400. SK and Proto is about half as much if you look around.
So for the Nepros and experienced tool users, please educate me. So is Nepros at the same level as Stahlwille and Snap On? And the KTC is the equivalent level as blackhawk series for the Nepros brand?
I'm trying to understand why some say these tools are a bargain...sorry I never had one in my hand or used one and trying to grasp why pay so much more for nice tools without local support? Thanks the input.

How did you come up with $300 to $400 for a wrench set? I bought almost every wrench set they had and none were $300. The highest priced wrench set on nepros.net is $242.40 for a 12 piece combination wrench set that goes from 5.5mm to 24mm.
Thanks JK47 and ricleh.
Ricleh, I understand now if their finish is better than Snap On that they cost that much. And to answer your question. The wrench set that nepros give is incomplete. A full wrench set is:
$242.40 NMS2-055, 07, 08, 10, 12, 13, 14, 17, 19, 21, 22, 24
Missing- order separate
9 - 14.95
11 - 14.95
15 - 17.95
16 - 18.95
18 - 21.95
20 - 24.95
23 - 32.95
total $389.05
I never understood why they sell incomplete tool sets, not nepros, but all manufacturers. When I buy a set, I want a complete set, it's worth the extra money for the times you need the right size and you have it. So a metric and fractional set will run about $800 total.
Some people never understood why a person pays $4k for a mountain bike, until you are in the sport or use it often you won't know. So I guess it's the same for stahlwille, snap on, and now nepros too.
I'm going to assume proto, sk, wright and such are good enough for the home wrencher and it will last the owner's lifetime generally? So besides an absolutely beautiful finish, proto, sk, and etc... will perform just as well? I'm not a pro mechanic, so I'm asking to see if there's really value in paying a premium...and the same goes with snap on. I have their tool box and love their customer support. Don't know if the tools are worth it unless you are in the profession given the price premium. Sorry if I'm causing a debate...I just want to know if it's worth it for the home wrench to buy it...just trying to see the value.
love the color wooden handled screwdrivers...
Were those part of the master set ?
Man, those socket rails are awesome. Must get a few sets, I saw a post earlier in this thread with the part numbers, but has anyone ordered just the rails?
36 teeth on both the 1/4" and 3/8" ratchets. No fine tooth ratchets at this time.

Thanks JK47 and ricleh.

Unless, you go for the round head ratchet !!!

It's going to be in my next order![]()
If you don't mind me asking, where did you order them from?I bought 53 sets of rails to replace all my other ones.
That's a nice looking ratchet. I personally don't like round head ratchets, but that is just a personal preference thing. I know a lot of people on this board like the round head fine tooth ratchets.
So tempting. I am trying to not buy more Nepros but you guys make it so hard! On the order side it took about a month to receive the items. I assume they were made to order so-to-speak.
You went all out!
I'm flat out envious of your purchases.I'm not a huge round head fan either, but the Nepros palm ratchet probably shares the same hardware, and I love my palm ratchet![]()
ricleh - What is the beam profile like on the nepros wrenches compared to Snap-On? Thicker? Thinner? More Rounded?
A comparison pic would be fantastic.
Indeed, I can't hold myself either...I think I'll have to order something again.
I'm curious: did Eri tell you what particular item was not in stock?/quote]
Eri sent me a list of all the out of stock items still listed on the nepros.net site after I ordered several items that were out of stock. I don't have it with me but when I get home today I will provide the list. There was also a list of the out of stock items in the catalog she sent me.
Hey RicLeh, what is the part no on those 30-60 degree open end wrenches at the bottom left of your pic, I dont see them in the catalog or on the website. did they come with the master set?
I thought only Snapon made those
Seems there are a lot of new items that are not on the website.
If you don't mind me asking, where did you order them from?
Here is a link to the set I ordered.

You can also order individual wrenches by going to the link superautobacs provided.
I'm not seeing any 30-60 angle wrenches in SAE.
