Here's my latest:
I had a customer come in that had gone offroading with his 2009 Toyota Tacoma and hit a large hole....Did a lot of damage, including break his aftermarket aluminum rim completely in half. Now, I wouldn't normally do this, but the guy was just plain awesome, and was definitely a gearhead. And when I say awesome, you know those stand-out types when you meet them....Well, he called me halfway through his truck repairs and asked if we still had the half of his rim that was still attached to his old suspension....I told him we didn't, and he seemed a little bummed. Well....In fact I DID still have his rim, and because he was such an awesome guy, I gave him this as a "Thank You" for bringing his truck for us to repair:
Unfortunately this is the only pic I have, before I actually finished it. It also has a "seconds" hand not shown.
I also removed the hands, painted them white, and repainted them with a couple of coats of paint....to make them glow in the dark.
This is what happens at our place when you are a standout awesome customer (let that be a lesson to you all!)
