Join a large club.My neck was feeling pretty good until I had to do some paperwork, DOT ****, they want you to use all these portals, except them seem to change them on a whim, so now they want me to link two different ones together. No problem, except they tell me my username doesn't exist, well it did the last time I logged in. Waiting for a customer service ticket so I can figure things out. We only login once a year to do the required steps to keep us in their good graces. It is totally ridiculous, we do not even drive 2,500 miles in a busy year, yet they treat us like we have twenty trucks and drivers that drive hundreds of thousands of miles. The last form I filled out told me to round to the nearest 10k miles, so am I supposed to put zero?? It looks like they are trying to tie everything together with our "login.gov" account, don't get me started with that. Then when I do paperwork for the feds, the state doesn't actually get a copy and they ***** and make me send them a copy too, I know everything is public record because I get hounded by DOT scam artists all the time, they try to get people to pay them to fill out the free forms. They charge $400 for one form that takes 30 seconds to update online. The government has to make it difficult so they can justify that budget. /Rant.

More vevor? I like mine. I can pickup escorts now lolJust getting out of the office now, at least it is drizzling out and I don’t really want to be outside. Now I have to go pick up some supplies and go to the Salvage Garage to condense the lights.
These forklift extensions arrived yesterday, they are 6.5” wide and 96” long, not sure how they can sell and deliver them to me for $175 (there was a $20 coupon, so $195 w/o it).

Legit concern, stand your ground.I just had an argument with my Dad about one of the tower sites that he wants to sell, there is a foundation that was never finished by "us", a couple years ago it came up in a structural inspection and Dad "fixed" it. He essentially made it look right, but did not do anything to it structurally. He is now furious that I want to "spend his money" on soils tests so an engineer can design a new foundation around the existing one, basically use what was there as an extra layer of safety. This has been discussed with my Dad, the engineer, and a few other people, now all os a sudden Dad is saying stop everything and he will fix it. I keep trying to explain it is a liability issue for us and he keeps saying there is no issue, to me this would clearly be negligence if something were to happen to the tower in the future, especially if we sell it as is and don't disclose the issue. I am really not sure what he is thinking, but he says we will just fix it in house and it will all be fine. I told him I won't be involved if that is the case, he said "no problem, you aren't needed anyways". Got to love family.![]()
Not sure it would be your fault legally but the family part probably. If it’s his decision there isn’t much you can do about it. I tell customers what they should do IMHO, whether they do it or not? If it’s serious I note it on invoice or by emailI am an officer of one company, but this tower is owned by another company that I have no control over at all. I am sure it will be all my fault per usual.
