I can tell you one thing, I have way too many unfinished projects. Every time I try and do something, another one jumps out at me. I have found about ten today alone and I am not even looking.
So far:
Pressure washer needs attention:
1) air up tires
2) change fuel filter
3) change old diesel fuel to kerosene
4) add hose reel I bought two years ago (also just moved it around on Monday)
Clark needs:
1) windows installed
2) lights installed
3) tires changed (need to fabricate rims)
4) fluid changes (engine oil and hydraulic)
5) seat recovered
6) new fan installed
So those are just a few of the many things that need to be done. While I am doing the stockroom swap and all my tower consulting projects. Oh yeah and fixing my volvo or suburban.

I am going to put fuel shutoffs on both sides of the filter on the pressure washer, I made a mess getting the filter off. The previous owner installed filters that were for 1/4" and 5/16" line, but they crammed the 1/4" line all the way up and over the 5/16" part of the filter, so I had to cut the line to get it off. I will find some regular 1/4" style inline filters, would like to have the housing be clear and the filter element replaceable, I know I can order them online, but I would prefer to get this wrapped up tomorrow or this weekend worst case.

I went to the local Alkota dealer, they were very helpful. I bought a really nice filter/water separator for it and a new nozzle. He explained and showed me a few things, so I know what I am up against. Worst case is probably the transformer on the burner. We also discussed upgrading to a bigger unit, he gave me a great price, so I may end up doing that at some point. By upgrading, it would allow me to use the pressure washer to sand blast without dust. I like the idea of a dual purpose tool, but right now I don't have a good water supply, so it doesn't make sense to upgrade yet.

Do you need a hand up there tomorrow, or will you be busy rebuilding your slip-n-slide ?
I am not 100% sure what we would do. I have a bunch of dub work that has to be done before any of the next major steps can be started. I hate to pass up the help, but I don't think I am ready. I am working on the pressure washer now, my guess is it will not be done tonight, last night I was here until after 10 and it about killed me.
I really think I just need to work harder, not smarter. Seems like the smart part of me can be really stupid. Looks like I may have to gump up the pressure washer to make sure I can get things working, but I really want to just spend the day tomorrow re-fabricating the entire thing. Is that the perfectionist talking? Trying to balance things, but damn, just one weekend and I could have a working pressure washer that has four wheels, self retracting hose, wand storage, spin on fuel filter, small tool box, and maybe even some other fancy bits sounds really enticing.

What I want is four wheels, but they are a PITA to turn. I have seen these and I am wondering if a trip to tractor supply is in order to find some new tires. I am headed out back first, can't remember what I have, maybe some of my casters could be modified to fit pneumatic tires.

If you go pneumatic on the tires, keep them low profile. Tall pneumatics can get tippy with that much weight riding high on a narrow frame.

So after looking at the cheap swivels wheels at HF and TS, I am not convinced that either are what I want. I am thinking I am just going to buy flat free tires and custom make my own swivels out of some heavy duty ones that I all ready own. The question is do I make it with four swivels or is that just too much swivel? I know it will be harder to keep straight, but it could be moved sideways and diagonally easy as pie. I need to think about this. I guess I could make it with two swivels and see what I think, then try four if the two just don't cut it.

I find that when I focus on the shop infrastructure, all other things go better and more gets accomplished. I would focus on the pressure washer as it will help accomplish other things like cleaning things to allow other progress. Imagine how the Lista acquisition would have gone if you had not had operating forklifts for example. Infrastructure first is my vote.

Strangely enough I have a giant set of swivles and a pair of fixed... If I had know that about 3 hours ago... Already passed by into NH.

I agree the frame is currently too narrow, but I have to widen it to accommodate the swivels and extra equipment. Basically I will make a wheeled frame that the current frame sits on.

I figure I can at least see if they will do what I want, not sure how they will hold up, also not like the pressure washer gets moved a ton. They have grease zerks on the swivel and "axle". Rated for 350 pounds each, so if I figure half that I should still be ok.

Ok I submit to agree... it is narrow and that tank looks like it might be top heavy... two swivels. Those look like nice swivels...

I have a pressure washer that I can sand blast with, you would like it, it's way faster than just sand blasting alone and like you said no dust. It does take more sand, since you can not reuse the sand still it drys out, but bulk sand is cheap. I use masonry sand a block layer would use or play box sand if buying in bags for small jobs

The casters that I bought are not going to work, so I am back to the drawing board as far as that goes. I really do hate projects that I am not prepared for. This morning my GF asked about her laundry thingy and we tried to figure out the best way to install it. Basically it is going to be a big project as I don't have the proper materials or tools to make the current materials work. So now I have two projects that can't be completed as designed. Go figure.
Yeah, there are a "few" floating around. I think I have found the solution, but the final assembly will have to wait until next weekend. Marathon makes some smooth flat free wheels that will exactly fit the heavy duty casters that I all ready own. I am thinking that if I can get those, then I can build it with the solid casters for now and when the rubber tires come in, then I can swap them out. It will end up riding on four 8" wheels instead of the two 10" ones. Reviews of the tires are mixed, but most people complaining were using them on the front of zero turn mowers. I should not be abusing things the same as them, but only time will tell.
This weekend was a total waste. Things look the same as they did on Friday night. I guess I can handle that, just got to figure out the best forward motion for tomorrow. Of course tomorrow is a partial day, I have a meeting with the Architect for the tower site. I have several meetings this week, so the whole week is going to be fun!

Problem is we are trying to buy a new refrigerator, our old one is not bad, but both of us are fed up with having to crawl on the floor and climb in the fridge to get to the food in the nether regions of the fridge. I want a plain old refrigerator, I don't want water or ice built in, you just can't find one that is a reasonable size. The ones that we are finding are way too complicated, have lots of bad reviews based on serious repair issues. So at this point, we have spent the last day and a half researching various brands and so far we have come to the conclusion that we want the freezer on the bottom.

Whatever You do... avoid LG appliances at all costs... not repairable... designed to be tossed.
