Some five year old pain pills and a heating pad have made a huge difference in my back, if only I could work like this.

A girl I know has a Milwaukee heated jacket. If she puts on one of those cheap Walmart back braces, loosely enough not to ruin the jacket. It gently cooks her back happy.

I hadn't thought about those, I think they make vests, too. I need a size extra fat, so it may be a pipe dream.

Have you tried an inversion table for your back pain? I use mine almost daily, only takes 5-10 minutes, and it makes a remarkable difference, especially since i'm missing most of my L3 disc. Does take a while to get used to, but once you learn to relax right away it's wonderful.

I have one, but it isn’t setup, I guess I need to get it back together. Usually I see my chiropractor every 6 weeks or so, but due to the current mess, it has been double that at least.

How about still recovering from two hip replacements (both sides) and a back problem and my left knee sometimes giving out, and I am only 87 yrs. young.

That stuff on your hands reminds me of that POR-15 I tried back in the 90's. Took a couple of weeks to ware off.

Hopefully it will work for you better in the tank then on your hands.

I hate getting por15 on my hands and hate it even more when my dog gets it on her fur. She has tiger stripes for weeks.

It is some cab forward design, like an LCF 1000, I think it stands for "Low Cab Forward"

The stains on my hands from the tank sealer were gone as of yesterday, so I guess it wasn't as bad as it looked.

OMG, that is such a flash back to high school.

I already watched Pretty in Pink, Valley Girl and all the Terminator movies. Did all the Alien movies too.

Back in the day, "Die Hard" really made me want to get a machine pistol (MAC-10). I almost bought one from a guy who knew someone, who might know someone, who might have one to sell to a kid. As a high schooler, I did not need a gun like that, or any gun for that matter.

A year or so back, I was seriously thinking of buying a local $10k Delorean car. But I talked myself off that ledge. LOL I am not a car "fix it" guy.

I need to watch Repo Man! and Cannon Ball Run! Geez, that means all those Smoky and the Bandit movies too. Dom Deluise was so funny.

And the pain pills that I thought were 5 years old, well they were from 2012 not 2015, so 8 years, almost ten left even after the four I took in the last 24 hours. I guess that would mean I am not an addict? The pills I really wish I had lots of are my old friend Celebrex, those worked very well for most everything that ached, think I still have a couple of those too.

Idiocracy, too close to home. I often thought we needed a test and license to reproduce. But then I'm reminded that we have that for cars and we still have mostly lousy drivers.

I heard that pain pills can get stronger as they age, please be careful with dosage.

Interesting info, they were slower to take effect, but still worked, I took the same dosage, except they were 12 hours apart instead of 4, should be fine.

My back is officially thrashed, had all I could do to get to the warehouse so I could meet the electrician and disconnect the air compressors. I think my chiropractor is on hiatus due to the current environment, might have to take a drive and see if there is a sign up or something, the message on the phone was the same as always. I am also going to try and setup the inversion table, it may help a bit, if I don’t make things worse setting it up. Right now my left leg is on fire, that means that things are swollen and pushing on the nerves that go there, love it.

My chiropractor cancelled all his appointments until further notice, but was supposed to be available for emergencies. Take it easy and rest. Hope your back improves.

I have been stretching for the last 20 minutes, might have to take some pain meds, then use the inversion table, I think if I can get the muscles to relax a bit, I can get the joints moving again.

It seems like this always happens when I have a tight timeframe, need to get compressors and pallets from warehouse, have to organize the rollers at the SG so I have a place to put the pallets of stuff, need to get a trailer unloaded so I have a way to haul the stuff, and tons more...

Sorry to hear about your back Strouty! About your movie list, the wife and I watched Contagion about a week back, when it was finished I checked the date it was made, 2011! Seemed like it was taken from today's headlines, scary how predictive it was. Give it a watch your not going to get away from the couch for long with your back by the sounds of it. Stretching will definitely help your back, and I am a believer in what the inversion table can help, we just need you on an exercise regime to prevent/reduce the re-occurrence of this pain in the upper @$$! Mental stress can also be part factor to your back problems. Had the same problem when I was with my late girl friend.

I can't take it that easy, I am at the Hill doing a bit of paperwork, then I need to go to the SG so I can pick up a few things, then I am headed to the bank, then I might have to unload a trailer to get things ready for the air compressors. It sounds worse than it should be, but I will know tonight if I anything is better or not.

The mental stuff is all normal at this point, this was definitely physical, I hurt it stacking some of the roller gates last weekend, then I aggravated it flipping the fuel tank every which way to get the epoxy coating to cover every nook and cranny. I knew I hurt it the second I did it, had I taken it easy earlier, it might have been OK, but I compounded the issue by being busy all week. I am dreading using the clutch in Perk, I am sure that will make things feel oh so much better.

Short answer is no, not worth the effort at this point. Pretty sure the state shut them all down, so I would be a “new” client versus a long timer. One way or another, I am going to get things loosened up.

Made it home, just took some pain management pills, going to chill out, tomorrow is an early start, but I have some help in the morning, so I am going to take it.

Did my back in 2 weeks back (ha), missed three days work and it was 9 before I could even approach 70% of normal. My back goes out every year, but every 3 or 4th it is as bad as this year.
Still only 80% after 2 weeks but off the daily ibuprofen regimen. Almost broke out the very limited super pain pills, but made it through without using my stash.
