And a miter box and back saw, which will do wood, plastics, or soft metals:

So does the plane really work? I've seen those before, but I always thought it would be best for making models and using Balsa wood. There isn't very much mass in a razor blade.

I have a 25 year old version of the back saw made by Xacto, I made my own mitre box because I was cheap. Your set appears to be older.

I haven't actually tried it as yet. I only recently got some double edge blades for it. But I suspect you are right, light use, but the blade also appears to have a VERY small depth of cut, so its for shaving, not anything serious...

Frank, does the little BP have a makers mark? I have a 1 oz. BP that looks similar, and is marked "Western Giant"

The side of yours almost looks like a third striking face. is it flat? (Mine is slightly curved...)

Found some Dunlap (sears) ignition wrenches I forgot I got in the past few months. (Compared to a std Cman Ignition wrenc and a std RP 1/4"..) BT = Vlchek/New Britain, but wait! The date range for BT is 36-38, and Dunlap didn't start until 41 with Sears? One or the other appears to be wrong... (Or Dunlap used a different code than Craftsman..)

And Somewhat tiny, my small auto punch, a lot smaller than a standard auto punch...

My dad was in the business of suppling equipment for pre-stressing concrete. Subsequently he attended a lot of machinery trade shows. When I was 9, in 1964, he came back from a trip with one each of these miniature Simplex screw jacks for my brother and myself. I don't know if my brother still has his but mine is still here and actually gets used for moving stuff in small spaces.

3" tall, open up to 4-1/2" and has a 500 lb. capacity.

I think one of these was posted earlier in this thread, but I picked this one up for a quarter today at a yard sale.

OK added to the Tiny tools collection today:

4-1/2" "lineman's" Pliers, and a 1/8" Armstrong combination (Ignition) wrench, Shown compared to the largest and smallest out of a standard set of Craftsman Combo ignition wrenches. I did some digging in my super small screws, and found a small pattern nut in 0-80 thread size is 1/8" (so I actually have a potential "need" for it )

Tiny Compass/Divider

I picked up this Starrett compass/divider as part of a bundle of machinists tools at a yard sale today. I'll be posting a separate thread on the total haul in the "its garage sale season" thread, but these belonged here, since they are my smallest:

OK, I found a quarter--Xcelite mini screwdrivers and F.W. Woolworth half-inch "Handy" micrometer. The dime store mike is USA-made and I'd guess it's from the 1950s:

And last, some mini tools from advertising giveaways. They all work, but I wouldn't say they work well. The pipe wrench and the hammer were made in Hong Kong. The two adjustable wrenches were made in Germany:

Well I got these out of a "junk" box of tools at a yard sale yesterday, and once cleaned up tuned out to be "Sevens Co. (the gun & tool manufacturer...) Pat. Feb. 8, 1870"

They are no newer that 1907, and probably older!

They may even be worth some coin, supposedly a pair like this sold on Eprey for $140. (Third hand report)

They go here in this thread as they are only about 3" long overall!

Here is a "Hack Saw" the blades have to be clamped, as they are too small to have pins or be pinned...

And an Eggbeater style Drill, the "big" one is a std "small" Millers Falls No. 5

It's marked Warner and Swasey Co. 75th Anniversary. They were a big company here in Cleveland that made lathes and other machinery.

Picked up the last of these from a very old school hardware store in Hillsborough, NC today. It's a GAM hammer that was made in Lancaster, PA. It appears they don't make them any more.

It's not tiny but not big, 7-3/4" long.

Growing up, my Mom had one of these in a kitchen drawer. I'm sure all the pieces ended up lost and the hammer head got tossed. Too bad, a neighbor gave me a bunch of tools when he moved. There was a full set of the screwdrivers, but no hammer head.

Funny, I just picked up a GAM hammer/screwdriver set identical to that at an Estate sale this AM, and I have a very similar knock off, and several of the screwdrivers sets as well.

Cool finding one NOS though!
