Immediately thought of this thread when I saw this little guy at a rummage sale today. Yes, it works, and even has a screwdriver tip at the end of the handle. Stamped into the top of the head is "A G & J Product" inside a diamond.

Likely a bicycle wrench. I have a much bigger Auto style wrench that was specifically aimed at the early bicycle crowd. Great find!

Some new arrivals:

I think this one is a clock or watch makers wrench of some type. Each spoke has either a mail or female square drive on it. (pin or socket) Apparently 3 sizes.

A few more ignition wrenches:

I'm posting this for the small screwdriver it has:

Mini lineman's pliers vs. the real deal:

And some small slip joints. these are not steel or aluminum, and may be Zamak. they may also be from a toy set, but they seem to be better thst what I remember in toy sets.

Scored these today ;
I assumethe top pair is Channellock however they are unmarked.
P&C. 1235 made in U.S.A
Diamalloy HL14 Duluth U.S.A
The bent nosed are Diamalloy with the Horseshoe mark.

Saw these several weeks ago at a hardware store that had been in business 53 years and in recent years was just open on Saturday mornings for an hour or so. The owner would come down and mostly just visit with folks and sell something ever so often. Some NOS fair amount of used items too. Place and contents sold at auction today.

Thanks Outlaw.
They didn't come real cheap.
Box with them , a Watsco hex wrench set , tubing cutter two ball peins (one a Channellock) and two meters for checking HVAC flow I believe. Cost me 25 bucks but I wasn't going away from there without those pliers !

Can you post more pics? Don't think I have ever seen any hammers made by Channellock!

Yeah, post the Hammers in the "Hammer Time" thread!

Here's a vise a buddy gave me. He thought it was possibly a shop made piece. If it is the maker was on top of his game. Is the correct term for this an insert vise?

Now that you ask that Outlaw , I guess it may be a fixture. You manually slide the dynamic jaw forward and use an allen wrench to tighten the screw to clamp the jaws.

Here's some of my smaller stuff. Have a bunch of electronic pliers and screwdrivers as well but these were what was within easy reach. Not quite as tiny as a lot of the ones posted, but they sure are little in my eyes!

Neat stuff. Thanks for creating this thread, Outlaw! I really love looking at petite automotive tools, such as those shown here.
Hey...can I play too?

I love the "little tools" in my own collection, but they are not all stored together, so I feared that it might take me a while to find some to show you folks. But then I remembered my little plastic bin filled with 4" adjustable wrenches.

These do qualify as "small tools," right?

Wrenchesadj4inchLoRez.jpg

Yes, that little Crescent box does hold a NOS (New Old Stock) Crescent brand adjustable wrench. You will also note a couple of Proto "Made in Los Angeles" marked wrenches, some "Made in Germany" units (I love older German-made tools), and lots of other brands.

Of course you can, and of course they do!

Do I spy one just below the one you are holding that has a hex in the "hanger hole"?

I have a couple of these in Crescent; one I carry all the time (and is getting shiny from being carried)( and the other I gave to me son to carry. Mine is pre Crestalloy, marked Forged CRESCENT Alloy. Both are black oxide finish.

Indeed you do, Outlaw. You've got sharp eyes!

Only one wrench in this plastic bin has that hex in the handle. It is a "Bet-R-Grip brand," marked "Made in the USA" on one side, and "Forged Vanadium Steel" on the other side. It is marked with "4 in" on both sides, and "5/16"" near the hex hole in the handle.

I have a large tray of full-size adjustable wrenches around here somewhere, and one of them is a "Bet-R-Grip" brand, about 11" long. I wonder if it has a hex in the handle hole too? :headscrat Hmmm...
