Today I found a Nugget 35122 11/16 12-pt. socket in a box of dregs I bought for $10.00. It is in excellent shape, too. No owner's marks or anything! Post #2,780 on the Garage sale thread.
Oh, now this is really getting goodYou can pretend it’s for me, I’m coming your way soon. It will show up right after I leave.

Wow, that's a great restore! Well done.I'm ready to add another tool case to my blackhawk collection.
I've been trying to gather the tools to go in this case for a while. With the help of Joshotto 94 & Drivesitfar I am able to fill out this 19AD set.
It started out as an Ebay purchase with a load of odd ball sockets in it.
After a little hammer work and a skim coat of filler the case went into the paint shop for a face lift.
A little sanding and primer to get the case ready for paint
After gathering enough tools to complete the package the case got a coat of yellow paint on the inside and a few days later it received a fresh coat of black paint on the exterior.
The fun was getting all the tools looking good enough to set in the case. First each piece was cleaned with the wire wheel on my bench grinder, next each tool was smoothed out using my 3" pistol grinder and 220 sand paper getting the tools to look like this
The sockets spent an hour in my ultrasonic cleaner getting the grime out from the barrels of each socket then a bout with soap and a wire brush to remove any grease before going over to the bench grinder to clean out the knurled area of the socket.
The last step was to black out the tools and put them in the case like the advertisement shows.
I forgot that the kit had the 500 speed handle until I brought the case in to add the decal so tomorrow the speed handle will get a facelift as well

I have a black and yellow box like yours also waiting for the same treatment. I doubt I will get near it before the weather goes bad though.I'm ready to add another tool case to my blackhawk collection.

This is beautiful. I should advertise wherever you are here on GJ in hopes of finishing my modest merchandiser. You just got to love the folks here on the Big G.J. With the help of many of you I've managed to complete the gathering of the tools and sockets to fill my 1920's merchandise display cabinet.
Today I received the last tool that I needed From Ricky Joe. This T8X is now in the cabinet on display In the cabinet
Thank you Ricky

I have a feeling that this is the same guy who was trying to get something like 4 grand for this item. A friend of mine ran across him at a mid west swap meet. Still a neat item but his price is not in the realm of reasonable. On Houston Cl,

👀 CIRCA WW2 1940'S BLACKHAWK BANTAM PORTO POWER ZEPPELIN TOOLBOX W/...
This is about as neat of an antique toolbox as you will find. It is a Blackhawk Bantam Porto Power Torpedo Tool box from the 1940’s that I obtain from an estate. It is shaped like a bullet and has...houston.craigslist.org
I see some old hot rods in the background, I'm a bargain shopper also.I have a feeling that this is the same guy who was trying to get something like 4 grand for this item. A friend of mine ran across him at a mid west swap meet. Still a neat item but his price is not in the realm of reasonable.

I'd like to see the inside of your cabinet HorseDo you remember this sad little merchandiser? It still needs quite a few bits to finish up all of the empty slots. If anyone has or knows where to find the following, please consider helping this poor little fella out. For extra credit, if you ever see the small variation of the Blackhawk topper sign that goes on the small merchandiser like this one, pleeeeease tell me. I do not have the luck of our good friend Don Long with Ebay.

This cabinet will get a nice scrub with Bar Keepers Friend at some point. I just haven't gotten around to it just yet.

Yep, they did change the assortments in these merchandisers. Here's the interior of mine:I'd like to see the inside of your cabinet Horse
I think that it has different tools from what mine has If yours is the top picture in the above ad!!

These are the ones just after the Chief's head sockets. Essentially they are the same exact sockets minus the head. You'll also notice that on my merchandiser, they replaced the Chief's head on the cabinet door and replaced it with 'Save your knuckles'.Horse, are these chiefs head sockets, or the ones just after?
Much appreciated. Any help I can get, delayed or otherwise, is always appreciated. Thanks!Let me check, I might have a couple spares you need then. I could be a little bit, as I need to unbury that part of the shop-in-transition.
I really appreciate you taking a look for me. Since I already have those sockets, I will just go ahead and leave them for the next Blackhawk guy that's looking to complete a set.Just looked, and I have 5/8s, 11/16s, 3/4s and 13/16s. You are welcome to them, but they don't seem to be on the list.
No need. I found what I was looking for.Where would the this 9811 fit in? I skipped a few pages. Thanks.
