As I mentioned last week I was able to drive the cobra to town for a cruise in night on the main drag that was closed off to all but fun cars/trucks and spectators. Good news is it made the trip, cruise, trip home, and trip back to town the next day for a little car show without issue. I did go through my first tank of gas, sadly I only averaged 9.5 mpg, maybe when I grow tired of hearing the sound it'll improve. Doesn't look likely anytime soon:
After getting it put away I had couple of dance recitals to attend to between working on stuff at the house. I pulled the RX-7 out that has been patiently waiting on me for 3 years, it is time, rolled it outside to give it a good bath, and back in to vacuum it out:
After:
It had a small engine fire which is where most of the damage came from, but cleaned up pretty well. Now to begin a large lego set to see if I can figure out where everything goes and get it back together. Wish me luck.
In other news I mowed the entire yard with the new mower for the first time Sunday, it took 1.3 hours according to the hour meter, a significant improvement over the previous mower. Speaking of which here is a size comparison between the two:
It was much more comfortable too, I'm actually looking forward to mowing with it in the future.
