Thank each and every one of you for your well wishes and concern. And thanks Strouty and Billy for keeping the others informed. I do appreciate it.
I thought you guys might like to see what we sometimes have to deal with here in the salt belt. This is a C/V shaft stuck in a knuckle/ hub assembly out of a 2011 Silverado. Please note the pressure.
That's right 39 tons of pressure and it still did not break free. And that was after soaking it with "knock er loose" for several hours before putting it into the press.

- let's face it, when was the last time you saw a rusty fish?![]()

...it's been brutally cold here the last couple of weeks. Nighttime lows in the - teens and daytime highs in the single digits....

I know you're probably an old pro at this cold and white stuff, but I hope you get through the coming storm easily. Looking forward to seeing pics of the repairs to the burner.
