I have both Gedore and Hazet.
I know that the Hazet reversible ratcheting combination wrenches are made in China.
I always grab the Hazet ones they feel the nicest.
I believe they are made in Taiwan, not China. This is based on the COO listed on KCTool. I wasn’t able to verify on Hazet’s site.

I think you’re correct however, I have not had any issues with those coming out of Taiwan
There is nothing wrong with the ones from Taiwan. It looks like a lot of reversible ratcheting combination wrenches are from Taiwan. I wonder if the Gedore ones are a bit larger because they use a different design.

It could very well be. I like the smaller print of the FACOM that I have, it allows me to use the wrench in tighter places.

This had me wondering if there were RAL codes for the European brands. I found some:

Bahco orange - RAL 2009 traffic orange, also for Fein
Beta orange - RAL 2011 deep orange
Facom red - RAL 3020 traffic red, also for Knipex
Gedore blue - RAL 5017 traffic blue
Hazet blue - RAL Effect 660-2
Metabo green - RAL 6001 Emerald Green
Stahlwille green - RAL 6024 traffic green
Wera green - RAL Design System Plus 170 60 45

Couldn't find anything for Saltus. https://www.ralcolorchart.com/ral-classic/green-hues

I went digging on the internet archive and put their website colours through a hex to RAL converter (https://hex.ral.to/).

2003 https://web.archive.org/web/20031010161602/http://www.saltus-werk.de/
#00663E = RAL 6029 Mint green

2013 https://web.archive.org/web/20130717064829/http://www.saltus.de/en/start-page.html
#00ab6f = RAL 6037 Pure green

That checks out with eBay photos of older sets, the older colour being darker.
