Anyone know of a store in Tirane, Albania that sells Hazet?
Monte - I do have a part number. Sort of - it just says 863 bottle opener.
Nice accent Monte. The Fein is real but not sure how old(does it really matter?)
Picked up the hose clamp pliers today, I have no use for them but they looked interesting and were made in France...![]()
Since it had moving parts I made a short video.
Also heres some other EU made Craftsman tools.
There is a part number on that but you wouldn't be able to order that directly. I have bought a box full of those, so if there is any need....
For every larger order I'll throw one in, otherwise just PM me.
It is basically a 863 ratchet without the ratchet mechanism. Then they mill out a part and chrome plate it.
That's what the apprentices make out of the parts that are somehow nicked a bit and can't be sold as perfect ratchets.
I always thought it read "Made in Trance" back when I had a Citroen ;-)
Want!

I kinda eluded to that above. The 810s are nicely shaped and grippy. Really they are probably the most Hazet you can get for the money - fantastic deal from Jens, comfy, sturdy, great fit (as you can see in my photo of the drivers hanging in the screw)... The handle on the 802 is very similar, but bigger than any of the 810s (bigger driver, though).
I don't know names. I'm guess she may have been the one on the cover of the 2010 worldwide special catalog? I pointed out the Porsche because that's what got me interested in Hazet to start with.

I like that little Hazet magnetic tray because it works vertical and horizontal.![]()

Sorry then for the repost, This thread is getting way too long and too popular....
I just thought it was a nice search result when I was looking for other high-res pictures of the NWS pliers (besides the impresive collection inside this thread, the company website shows the 2K grips only)
I did find a pliers test in a German magazine. you probably already know... have read ... have writen yourself... but here it is

@Monte:
"You better eat your vegetables or grandpa will buy you a Fiat!"

As promised ..
USAG 325 series security torx screwdriver:
Any guys tried Bosch Multi-Cutters or other brand Multi-Cutters ? Which one should I get ?
BTW I once sold 20 of those to a bar in Germany and always wondered what they do with them. Maybe they drink beer from them and have steel walls?
Then:
into the bowl @ Monte It was this model.
http://www.fein.de/fein-multimaster/us/en/products/multimaster_top.html
I bought the HCP during their 10% off sale over the phone with a Sears card and it cost me $35.99.
The blades are Swiss(I strongly suspect made by Bosch) and the handle is Schröder also it takes screw driver bits and is a very underrated tool IMHO.

I like the model called "KESSY" more ....
...and with plastic, alu + stainless fasteners etc.
the girl in or on the car would look best![]()
lol
now finally this thread gets interesting !!!
more !!![]()
Yes, I agree on the Porsche would be good.

Wow. You Germans really are engineering wizards--you've developed a magnet for plastic and aluminum?!![]()
Is this Kessy? Still interested, Monte?Yes, I agree on the Porsche would be good.
As far as plastic magnets, no - but it's a bowl and will contain non magnetic items vertically and horizontally.
Where is this box made? Are all the Hazet boxes actually made in Germany or does some other company make them? If another company, which one and COO?
They are all made in Germany. You can look at the 2011 catalog. It shows which tools are German (luckily most of their tools are German made).
Monte, do you know the warranty situation with Hazet? I bought a long Hazet T50 Torx driver a few months ago, used it for the first time today and sheared the tip clean off.![]()
As far as the Toptul ratcheting screwdriver, does the direction selector provide enough resistance so that it cannot be turned accidentally during use? The Gearwrench ratcheting screwdrivers exhibit this terrible characteristic.
Is the ratcheting mechanism coarse or fine tooth?

I have to admit I like the appearance of the King Tony Tools.Have no idea how they perform though.

Hey, how come the swirls aren't all in the same direction? Some are left-handed and the others are right-handed.
News today, Toptul & King Tony:
