Yeah Monte, i asked you about the "Class" because i noticed Fisco mentioned some "Class I" on their website. I purchased mine 2 years ago, directly from thier French importer. IIRC i paid ~ EUR 35,- (incl. vat).

Maybe they take their tape back :D it´s still in good condition :)

Unfortunately Fisco lists Sola as distributor for Germany, so no Fisco tape for me only Sola :(:)

This post is very dynamic, got five days off line and more than 13 pages to read.
Thanks to all the beautiful pictures.

@ Monte:
- It seems incredible, but I do not have Tramontina Pro. :rocker:

Tramontina Pro gave me many problems in the past.
These days I was in a local store looking for some ratchets 1/2", Tramontina sound like sand in the gears :headscrat. Belzer, Gedore and Robust sounded much better.

Sorry for the delay in responding, I'm painting my house and today I found my computer in the middle of the mess. :willy_nil

Here's a tool that I don't use very often but when I do its real handy...thread file. I'm assuming this company is long gone?
Nice thread file:thumbup:

@mrtools : Congratulations, nice Sunglag purchase  Interresting design, both handle and the oversized shaft diameter are quite unusual. I like the way this brand make their tools
Thank !
I am agree with you..
That why I am bought it:thumbup:

Not sure to be honest, i found it in our work toolbox a few years ago. All the bits were broken(from previous employees).
Thanks!:)

All for cheap with free shipping!
Not as cheap, but also got:
This German made Bahco saw:
And a long awaited 300mm Knipex Cobra:
Cheap??:drool::drool:
How much a cost for all goodies?
Congratulation for your new tools:beer:

no problem :)
if you like the glossy finish then buy them :)
oh thanks for the flowers :) :)
Do you have pictures of that shop ? It seems they have good stuff like the Belzer wrenches, Hazet, Sunflag...
btw: nice screwdrivers !! Look very strong !!
Do you buy them for your job or for yourself at home ? Do you have to pay your tools you need for your job or your employer ?

"Circum" screwdriver
I be thinking:headscrat

I was looking at those, but all the ones I want cost mucho dolares!

I'll have to "deal with" a Supertool 300 for now. I wanted a Blast or a Charge tti, but I also needed to fill the gas tank for this week as well :D

@american lockpicker: nice tools - I like Leatherman Micra, interesting that those scissors are instead pliers jaws. And I see you are hiding one more tool from Old worls, the CZ75 :)

Thanks for the pics, perhaps you should buy more Magna bit drivers, I cannot find any on ebay. Collectors item soon? :headscrat

I have quite another problem - there are about three shops nearby and they have only Magna bits there :) but like somebody else wrote, Magna has something to do with Bosch and I don't believe in Bosch too much. I noticed there are two "types" of Magna bits mixed in the box in those shops, probably older (no-Bosch) and newer version, and everytime I want to buy a bit, I choose "older" version of Magna bits... But maybe I'm wrong and all the time I prefer some chinese **** instead of quality, because I am not sure with those "versions", and I don't know about it :headscrat

Are you sure some shady stranger in a trench coat didn't sell you that? :D

I'm either getting that or the Spirit. Probably going to spend around ~$100, but that's not horrible. I was looking around at edcforums.com at all the topics about the things people carry with them... multi tools, keychains, flashlights, etc. They're crazy.

As for the actual topic here, no where around me sells anything not from China, Taiwan, or the US. Only German and Swiss stuff manages to populate anything, and that's knipex, wiha, and the jigsaw blades the Swiss love to make so much. Guess I'll just order something online then!

Anyone care to find me a Stahlwille 3/4" combo wrench that ISN'T 30 dollars? Believe it or not, that's the cheapest I could find one new, individually. I about had a few heart attacks.

no shaddy stranger there, only my myopic vision saw the faded/not well printed one and five before the five i paid for it... cashier was having a heated discussion with a co-worker about holidays and had a bad near vision. since it's not a small mom & pop kind of shop but aa big multi-national chain store, i didn't object to the price...

made one damsel very happy!

yeah, i carry a small flashlight, a spoke wrench and a "small pocket knife" too and a flat screwdriver and some hex keys and a small Facom plier and tyre/tube repair kit and... well, stuff! :lol_hitti:lol_hitti

if the local shops do not carry what you need or want, well, it's their loss...
as much as i root for the small local shops i won't give them money for what i do not want nor wouldn't buy. :dunno:

Think I should pull the trigger on it? That's a bit of money =/ I have about $110 to buy tools in Paypal before I go back to college. Wonder what I should get.... too many choices!

the real question is "what tool/s do you really need right now?"(but you really know the answer to that one ;)) and if there's any money left, get some Snappy discounted stuff and zum ebAY! then buy what tickles your fancy as far as tools go... :lol_hitti

then relax with a cool belgian

you can find that wrench way cheaper: Open Box 13A 3/4" but the shipping will kill your PayPal account! :lol_hitti

(i honestly don't think you can find a better combi wrench than the 13A, as good, certainly, but better i doubt it.)

tool content: none for now, maybe later...

two no-name old japanese screwdrivers

Cosmic, that's interesting, because I have two near-similar screwdrivers with unknown COO. I bought them at some flea-market for 20cents and I thought they are China made, especially that red one with square profile of metal part (don't know the right word for it). Where do you have that COO information from? Is it written on handle? Because my ones have nothing on it, but if I can see they are like twins of your ones.

I cropped your picture, don't be angry on me :lol_hitti

yellow/translucent one has a "Made in Japan" marking on the shaft(bought it new in the late 80s as a cheapie and it's still there ), red one is more recent and had a small black "Japan" lightly screened on the handle that disappeared with use along with a manufacturer name(wich i forgot ) and the size... a bit like my PB stubbies where there is almost no more markings. :(

Thanks for the answer! Your screwdrivers have probably better roots than my noname ones. And although my english is very poor, I didn't have to use your *star* note :) I'm sure you are a humorous man - I can see it from that picture under your nick :bounce:

Do I need another 3/4 wrench? No. Absolutely not. I have 4 of them. Which seems like a small amount compared to some of the Snap-On ratchet hoarders around here lol. It's my most used tool, by far (mill draw bars like these: http://compare.ebay.com/like/300367228378?var=lv&ltyp=AllFixedPriceItemTypes&var=sbar&_lwgsi=y
And while I do have a nice Blackhawk FP wrench, I'd love to finally get to use a Stahlwille! I've heard nothing but good remarks about their wrenches.

That website is nice but... 20 euro shipping! and a 50 euro minimum purchase! Get the heck outta here lol.

If I don't order one for the 30 bucks, I might have to "settle" for a Hazet or Gedore.

Also, I'm not old enough to drink anything with alcohol in it yet :lol_hitti
