Heres my Old World Christmas. :)

nice christmas presents :pimpflash

No COO on the wrenches, but the factory packaging said " Made in Germany". In fact I have not ever seen anything that Stahlwille sells, that is not made in Germany.

I almost bet my money on "Made in USA"

Ebay haul since last summer -Beta (ex display units, hence few scratches)

nice stuff !

Some new acquisitions. There are a few new world tools in the mix also, hope no one is offended.

Only one had a brand and COO and after reading about them being "European" steel I would almost bet its made by Bahco as they have a very similar set.

Lil' off topic : I've got a pair of original RayBan Wayfarer made in USA, in 80's. Far more better made than the one from the Italian Luxotica. Funny how vintage products always rock !

I got a Stahlwille 1/4 ratchet off the classifieds here.

Amazingly enough, there is a 1/4 ratchet with a retail of more then Snap On, hard to believe I know.

Anyways, here it is with the tools from my work toolbox (The Stahlwille is my own personal item, the rest are work owned).

From the top Snap On, Stahlwille, Wera, and Armstrong.

Engineer PZ55 screw pliers,
Good price for Hazet goodies!!
Thanks buddy very nice shot!!
It one of my dream screw pliers:drool:

green plexiglass holders would be awesome. Maybe you can make some with your new machine and sell them to Wille ;)

must be from the 1980´s , i found a forum post with a similar drill made in 1982.
Errr..:headscrat

Bought these ratcheting wrenches for my birthday a few weeks ago.
Nice !!
thanks to share a pics:beer:

This is 70 tooth ratchet IIRC, and the lightest 3/4 drive I have come across vs length.
No COO?

I think Vessel is in the top tier of toolmakers. I especially like their screwdrivers and bits.
Awesome Vessel driver:drool::drool:
I'm agree with you Vessel is the best screwdrivers and bits manufacturer..It my favorite driver especially when working with JIS type philips screws.

My old world Christmas.
Awesome! detail pics please:drool:

Some of my old tools from the old world. All are inherited from my grandfather.

HPIM7245.jpg

Bahco screwdrivers, these yellow handles were sold as a cheaper version of green handles. I think its time to "retire" these to be used light household jobs only.

HPIM7234.jpg

Acesa boxwrench set. Tray is from Stahlwille, and it is just perfect for these.

HPIM7239.jpg

HPIM7240.jpg

This wrench set is interesting. No maker, just Made in Germany or W-Germany on two. It could be that these wrenches are bought separately, but its too late ask. Please tell me, if you know who made these. Monte, I am counting on you!

HPIM7242.jpg

No markings on other side. Wrenches are very thin, finishing is little rough compared to Stahlwille and others. I think these are some lower middle-class wrenches. All tools are at least 20 years old, excluding Stalwille trays.

I bought two of the Stahls off here as well. I plan to keep one and give one away. They are pretty nice, but nothing outstandingly special that I see.

And the all time winner for a post with multiple redundant pictures that add no value to the thread is......

it's a tie. both my post and what I quoted are prime examples. I know I'll not do anything like this again.

shoot the messenger at your leisure. :)

Tie? There's no tie here. You are the winner by the biggest margin ever. Clueless...

Went to Ohio to get a #3 phillips but True Value redid their store and got rid of a lot of old inventory. :( They got some interesting old world tools in :) but the prices aren't low like they used to be. :(

The Sistema from New Zealand is nicer than British Really Useful Boxes but doesn't have the assortment(at least here anyways) of sizes and is more costly.

Also does anyone besides Unior produce screwdrivers in Slovenia?

Fein blade. Most I've seen are made in Switzerland, USA, or Germany.

Not sure if it was either of those, will try and get a pic of what I wanted...

btw. plastic bins: Swiss made: www.rotho.com/en.html

I wish it was available here. Looks like it was available on Amazon.co.uk but £22.58 shipping... :shocking:

Olafur beautiful Beta ratchet!
nice stuff !
Thanks fellas, I agree. Former employer had the same (perhaps older version) and I loved it for 3/4" work.

None of these Beta tools have any indication of COO.

<O>

Since the year is almost over I think it is time to declare my personal favorite Old world tool of the year 2011.

It comes from Koken Japan and is the 3/8" universal joint -far right. Second runner up is the 1/2". ;)
