A small buy this week.

Small Lux screwdriver, made by Felo. Pretty difficult to see the Felo mark.

KWB torx bit, almost 4 euros, not very cheap. Titanium-nitride coated.

Made in Germany?

At home I noticed that it has a small plastic holder that you can connect to each other. Maybe not very useful to me but hey, quite nice idea: bit holder + package alltogether!

Had these for about 3 months now. Got them from a seller in Germany. So much cheaper than buying in Australia.

Stahlwille, 14 series, ring-open end, metric.
I have had a set of these before (they were stolen) so I am familiar with them.

This is how spanners should be made. They just feel RIGHT in the hand.

DSC07620.jpg

Same can be said for these Stahlwille double open-end metrics. If these can do half the work my imperial Stahlwille`s have done over the last 10 years I`ll be happy.

DSC07624.jpg

These are the first of these soft grip style pliers I have owned.
I like them. Have not done any hard work with them so only time will tell.

DSC07609.jpg

DSC07607.jpg

Seal picks, I go through so many seal picks.
So far so good with these. The handles are a bit small though.

DSC07614.jpg

The freebie thrown in.

DSC07610.jpg

I did buy these locally.
Cannot remember whether the company is Swedish or from Switzerland but I think the tools themselves are made elsewhere.
The tips are proving to be up to the task. (I am hard on screwdrivers) The hole in the handle is a bonus if you need a bit more leverage.
The handles themselves I am still not sure about. They have a rectangular shape to them. Sometimes it feels right. Sometimes not.

Are teng any good? iv only got 1 teng tool and its barely used so I'm not sure how they are

In my limited expirence they have been pretty good. I have some 3/8 torx drives of their`s that have done well. I know a couple of other guys that use their gear and they have had a good run out of them.
Years ago when I first came across them in Australia they were an expencive tool. They are still not a cheap tool today but their pricing seems a bit better.
I am looking at their 3/8 drive sockets.

Working with Teng...forget it...1/4" sockets have no holes or groves to lock on an extension. Bits are fastly worn out, ratchets are cheap hard to maintain plastic junk and impacts are just hold by rubber rings...not my stuff that I prefer.

nice stahwille stuff, definitely my favorite make of spanners, i agree they feel perfect to use (i have the short 13 series) prefer the feel of them even over snap on....

want to get a set of those pb swiss picks, i love the look of the handles, same as there screwdrivers

I think the teng stuff is made in Taiwan still good though, have a few things from them,

Hey Monte and friends, do you recognize this pop rivet gun? I picked it up for next to nothing from a flea market because the writing looked German...ish:dunno:. More likely Chinese I fear because it doesn't say made in Germany anywhere.
(the metal is cast if that helps)

BGS is not made in germany!!!! It just an importer. Most stuff like bits are totally **** compared to wiha ...

But they have nice special tools...anyway...just a re label brand.

They make good wrenches and sockets. I have used them, would not hesitate to buy those items. 90% of the BGS tools are made in taiwan. And they are good quality tools, but like all brands they do have some not as good stuff. Their ratchet are nothing special, but they work.

Bits are not on the level of wera or wiha. But they are not garbage either. Much better then the chinese stuff. And on par with allot of the dewalt and milwaukee bits you can buy in bulk. I have used them and they have about the same life before camming out when used on a drill. But wera and wiha and bosch are the bits I would turn to first when I need them. Their socket torx and hex are actually pretty good, as good as the US made craftsman.

Awesome sets  my favorite wrenches!!
I have a very good experienced with Open Box 14, Motor 10 + Stabil 20 I will not change my wrenches set after used it:thumbup:
I think Wille made the best wrenches in the market;)

We use something at the shop much like the "Wiha PZ and PH offset drivers" except we use them to manually de-burr aluminum we have drilled holes in... I wonder if it is actually a tool used to de-burr stuff or if it is an "offset driver" that we use for the wrong thing...?

Just happened to see a picture of it and figured it was a de-burring tool and it was listed in that post as a "offset driver" so I was just curious! =)

as good as the US made craftsman.
That is an easy job....

But serious THEY DON'T MAKE THE SOCKETS. Well maybe I would think different when they would honestly say "we have here the famous sockets from Mr. Xing Xang Xung"...really a bad behavier...

For me...only SnapOn, Gedore, Stahlwille, Hazet

Very nice collection with difference color and manufacturer:thumbup::thumbup:
at the top one is your PB Swiss center punch with carbide tips?
:) yes exactly !! Good eyes !! :bowdown::rocker:
it´s a very nice center punch with vey sharp tip so you can punch the material very ligthly if you want/need but still have a visible and small "hole" because it´s "sharper" than others and it´s also very good to make exact markings in metal because the tip is so sharp you actually can feel where the scribe lines meet at the center, for example if you scribe a line from left to right and one line from top to bottom you can "feel" with the PB center punch where exactly the middle of the lines is. Regular (non carbide tipped) center punches are dull and wear and mostly it is not possible to "feel" the thin scribe lines/marks.
Awesome "in action" pics buddy:thumbup::thumbup::bowdown::bowdown:

Looks like the standard import, most likely Chinese or Taiwanese origin. Since there is not brand name on the tool i guess it´s on the lower end of quality/price ?
But if the price was right and it works... ;)

3 Seconds. That's the amount of time i needed to decide to spent 211 Euro...

Findor 24 mm, astrofit 18 mm, its good quality ?
Findor is a tool dealer/wholesaler: www.findor-werkzeuge.de
Astrofit is usually available at the flea market or at ebay where people sell the Astrofit tools used by the german army. There is no trade mark registered so i don´t know much about these brands.

And drill marked as C&C ? Does anyone heard of this brand ?
any pics ?

I have a German football shirt

I have seen that one at bike shop, I am just two lazy to manually pump up my bicycle tires, I use my jump start kit that has an electrical pump to fill all my car, motorrrad, and bicycle tires. Allot faster and it keeps my small basement area less filled.

I wanted a pump which works without electricity and without noise so i can use it on sunday or also between 1 and 3 o´clock during the day in the week were noise is prohibited. For the one or two times a year when i have a flat on the bicycle or to refill the tires every now and then the pump works just fine for me :)

I am looking at their 3/8 drive sockets.

Early on when Teng first started being sold in Australia they had a nickname of Twang as their tools often broke. Some tools are still over priced for what they are, like their tool boxes etc. in saying all this I bought a Teng 3/8 torque wrench 13 years ago for torquing up rocker gear on falcon heads and still use it today with no complaints.

Basically it's a swedish brand brand but if their tools have ever been in Sweden it's just for at visit in the warehouse though. I've no hands on experience of the quality.

Cannot remember whether the company is Swedish or from Switzerland but I think the tools themselves are made elsewhere.

Yeah, it looks to be pretty nice, it is with in 10% at the high end and pretty accurate in the low and middle end especially. I tested it with against a digital snappy we have at work. For the price it will get the job done. Got it for about 40 dollars form ASH from german hand tools.
