How's IREGA Wrench? I have a similar (6 ") but no ergonomic handle, bought it about 2 months and was seeing at the store where I bought it, have the same version you have

I want a ratchet 3/8, so far in Costa Rica I can buy the HAZET 8816F.



However, there are some interesting models internet in a similar price range:

Craftsman Premium Grade

I believe that to continue with the style of thread, I will opt for HAZET model, has less teeth (72) than the Craftsman (84) and Armstrong model (88), but after all I think HAZET in quality is difficult to overcome.

The Hazet ratchet is quite a bit shorter than the Cman premium. The head is also substantially fatter and i prefer the reverse mechanism of a pear head over a round head since you can reach the former easily. Judge for yourself.

The new Metabo 10,8 Volt recip saw.
Quick change blade mechanism, takes recip saw blades as well as jig saw blades and the "shoe" is adjustable

Thanks jalfaro. They are not all mine but the Irega wrench belongs to me. And I like it. I like it more than my gedore which I could not get used his counterclockwise Function. Irega has significant less play than any other that I have try. The handle are very comfort and switchable.

Buy the Hazet man. In a short time this model will be replaced from the new one and I think that the 8816f is a "must have" tool. Unfortunately I have not the money.

If you prefer the reverse mechanism of a pear head you can buy one later. One more reason is that the round head ratchets are more robust. (not sure if that is correct)

yes that's right. I'm not an expert but I believe that they are quite strong. I don't know how they stand in a difficult environment but for their price they definitely worth a try. The one in the pic above are the No19. Here are the no17 compared with gedore 1/2.

The ratchet is pretty good. It is much better than the other ratchet of carolus with the red handle. Looks quality, have a very low profile and smooth ratcheting. The finish, (gives me the impression that) is better than the sockets. The socket secure tightly with free play close to zero. All the new ratchet and ratcheting wrenches of carolus are made in Taiwan and the quality is higher. Some photos with the gedore 1/4 ratchet and No 13 socket.

Pretty awesome. Don't know why a company shouldn't say that a tool comes from taiwan. At least at computer parts i got a pretty good feeling if the package says 'made in taiwan' instead of 'made in china'

Sure, the design of these pliers to remove screws is very practical, there are other models from Lobster (TG200NA) and Fujiya (SP26-175), yet I could not find a version of a European manufacturer, therefore, I bought the Engineer PZ56 model.

Got some Facom stuff today from member BMWGarage. All I had for Facom before now was a ratcheting screwdriver, which is great. Have to say, they make some nice tools! I'm quite sure these weren't made in France but whoever made them did a great job! The only negative, which really isn't negative is the small grips on their ratchets. I have fairly big hands and when I saw them I thought it looked funny but after using them, they actually fit in my palm really nicely. Just looked a little odd next to m other ratchets.

Also, let me take to make another question, by chance have any of the ratchet "HAZET" 3/8 with the plastic selector, model 8116N interests me but I wonder if having the plastic selector could represent a problem.
