wow that are some nice hazet tools :) Congratulation. Do you know how those foam inserts will cope with oily/greasy hands?

c345sfw752r8a8cje.jpg

receive a used flex head-bend handle (dont know if they have a special name) ratchet
Its a Stahlwille 439 in 3/8

WOW!!! I moved to Snapon because I MISSED those ratchets from Stahlwille...actually the catalouge does not offer any flex head like this...would sell my snapon stuff to get those stahlwilles.

Do you know how those foam inserts will cope with oily/greasy hands?

I have experience with them. Afte a short time they get dirty and hard to clean...the inserts will worn out fast also...but my opinion is based on a daily use!

First, all of this HAZET stuff is on the expensive side, nothing new to people here... But, compared to my Facom tool trolley, the quality is second to none, the construction, steel gauge, paint finish, even the castors locking mechanism is amazing. They are worth every penny and the look is amazing

Yeah...compared to Facom...right. Try to compare it to a basic Snapon box...there are differences like day and night! Had the same choice, but Snapon drawers are much more durable, easy to dismount, bigger and ...CHEAPER!

I agree, snap-on is much bigger, but bigger is not always any better. I have a small place, so a big snap-on cabinet is out of question.

Do you own an Hazet Assistent ? How do you know how easy or not the drawers are to remove and interchange. In fact on my assistent, it took 2 seconds to remove 2 drawers and 2 min to change inside railing from 1 medium size drawer to 2 smaller one.

it was compared to Facom for many reasons, the same reasons why I did not compared it to Snap-on or Mac or Montezuma.

I wanted an all foam tool storage system, so not many options other than Facom and Stahlwille... For the same price I would have a fat **** Snap-on box but again, this is not what I wanted. Less is more.

Jalfaro, I agree, this is why I opted for Hazet. On top of the Quality, the foam storage system is just awsome.

Happy you enjoyed it ;)

Cheers

Good day everyone.

Then comes the HAZET tools. I soooooo love this non shiny, non slippery finish. Everything is top quality. The design, fit and finish is truly amazing and working with them is a pure pleasure. The foam system makes it fast and easy to locate tools and when you are done, 2 seconds is all it takes to realize, the 8mm box isn't back in it's place.

Now enough talking time for the pictures.

The trolley is basically what mechanics getting training in BMW training centres are using. It is an Assistent 180. There are some more tools in the side door, just forgot to take the picture.

I would sincerely thank and recommend Jens and Ash. Great people with amazing service.

Cheers and hope you enjoyed. More to come when next order is delivered.

Hi! This is my first post on this site.
Thought I'd show you some of my old world stuff.
Welcome to the board
nice post!!

Being from Sweden, a collection of adjustable wrenches is mandatory.
These are mostly older Bahco, but there is also some Würth and other European brands.
This one is nice, it's an old Bahco marked "SAAB".
Woww!! you have an awesome adjustable wrenches collection:bowdown::bowdown:

Speaking of (mostly) German made socket-tools, here's a Heyco and a Würth.
I did actually find the Heyco in a scrap metal bin.
Cleaned it of, inspected the gears inside and found nothing wrong with it.
So that nothing wrong with Heyco?
How dare a man throw it into scrap metal bin:shocking:
It a very good German made tools!!!!!!!!:shocking:
btw: good to know someone awere and take care of it:thumbup:

They are as nice as the matco 12pt ones I have used in the past. They are very smooth retcheting action. The quality is excellent, what I expected in proto. Also I wanted spline, not to many options out there. The craftsman ones are no where in the same league as the proto spline.

As someone who use allot of proto tools, they are every bit the same high quality standard as their US made tools.

Bondhaus make a very good Allen and torx keys. But they do rust a bit more then chromed and coated crv by the ocean. They are up there with the wera keys. Almost as good as the PBS Swiss and wiha ones.

The only ratchets that I have. I also want one with swivel head. Has anyone tried the gu-3? The mechanism of the swivel head is a little strange and do not know if it is convenient. Any suggestion?

Look what the Easter bunny left for me! I found it on a long walk in Germany near Hallenberg on Easter. It is a bit rusty but the blade had been recently sharpened and there was no rust on that part, it's in excellent condition. It's an older No. 9 Opinel. I was not familiar with these but it's really nice!

In the first place I only wanted to buy the bit rachet alone bit since shoturtle posted the tool-Check that included the ratched plus some nuts and bits I purchased this :)

I was quite surprised how tiny it actually is
c36uf4v5rd42osqxn.jpg

the main purpose was I need a tool that was able to unmount these screws. Tried alot an nothing really worked only a very slim 90° adapter for my dril but then I wasnt able to push the screw down. With the bit rachet I still have alot of space left :)

Please ignore the way I am holding the ratchet :D

Yes you should!
You made me want more tools than what I need and now requite.

Yes they are without flank drive! All my 3/8 are with out flank drive. The same for 1/4 deep 6 point. I'll take some photos when I can. The only flank drive that I have are all the 1/2 (except 27 and 32) and the 1/4 12 point shallow.

Good day everyone.

Then I had the great chance to meet Jens, and I ended up making couple HAZET orders already. Here are some pictures of the first order I made...
