Hey Monte,

I tried to message you but your message box is full.

Do you know anybody that would be interested in buying a Snap-on tool box brand new or maybe you might be interested? I have a very high quality tool box that just sits around and I don't use it. It is a Master Series KRL722 in Electric Green color with a stainless steel work surface. The price for it is 3500€.

Hmm... this way I could have tried it either. Thank you!

Still not so bad especially the foam inserts...

I notice that the connector looks like a hose connector, and not a quick connect. Is it intended for permanent installation or just that you make your own short whip and put a quick connector at the end?
you are correct :). For permanent installation on machines i guess so employees can´t remove the gun, and it seems there is also a safety directive that you must use a short hose (30 - 50cm) and then the coupler instead of attaching the coupler directly to the tool.
Gedore Oil "Can" 25ml
cute

My first Facom plier purchase at a local automotive parts swap meet. $5 for this beauty! :bounce:

it´s empty again :)

I can ask around but i don´t think i will have luck since i don´t know anybody who spend even close of that amount of money for a box. Personally i´m saving for a Gedore box.

same here, short hose is mandatory for the coupler.

...maybe... :)
but probably not :p since i have the Festool CXS e.g., so i think i don´t need the angle drill + angle driver, nor the GSB or the Multi Cutter i think because i have little use for it and the Fein is 100 times better :)
Damn Monte, that's a cool saw! Been wanting one for a while, but even the corded ones are flippin' expensive here.
The "naked" tools without batteries etc. are priced ok....at ebay at least :) Maybe it pays off for you to buy from the US where the prices are considerably lower ?
For the small things the little BOSCH ist very fine, but most of the time I use "the big gun". :D
yeah a big corded one is already on the wishlist

of course!! i like it!!! it cut the 12mm o/d welding cable like no other, how the x cut perform ?

There pretty powerful for a little pair of cutters, but I haven't cut anything other than cable ties and copper wire. The chrome started peeling off the first time I used them, but other than that they've been good:

Also yesterday an Incra LS fence/positioner; hoping this will address re-ripping already narrow boards with the Festool MFT and track saw. The metric version, 1 mm stepped coarse repeatable adjustment (+/- 0.05mm) , and fine adjustment (0.025mm clicks). Seems very well built, and smooth linear bearings.

Just as well I have stared building new workshop; running (as usual) out of space.

Deutsches WerkzeugMuseum in Remscheid. Have been meaning to post the rest of pics I took back in March (was it?). If you are ever anywhere even remotely nearby, it is absolutely worth a visit.

Thanks Monte. I'll investigate, but generally due to our weak exchange rate and high shipment costs imports are a bit difficult. I'll simply save until I have the funds. :)

Is Rockwell represented / available in Europe? Their cordless line up isn't very impressive but they have a few neat ideas such as the swivel / combination jig / reciprocating saw. Zee Trans4mer.
Their corded oscillating tools however, are second to none IMO.

Is there anything similar to this in Europe?

Here's an old 18" Zubi my Dad gave me, in rough shape. I cleaned the rust off of it, and found my Grandpa's name engraved on it

For the small things the little BOSCH ist very fine,
i think the small Metabo would be nice since you can use jigsaw blades too and the shoe is adjustable...

Nice promo. I still tell myself I don't need one... (but for how long) :willy_nil

There is a orange DIY line and a "professional" yellow/green line

That's a nice set indeed. Question is: who is the manufacturer?

I think i got who made it. Facom, but the screwdriver must be from Felo.
But as always Würth set their look to it.
I have been working with this set alot now and i must say i am impressed by it! :rocker:

Get the PB swiss separately, they are a lot cheaper without the little case which I don't use.

not so sure about a Facom origin... ratchet looks very taiwanese in the hand, and head is too different from an R.151 or R.161 to be Facom, bits and squaredriver are from Felo and socket set looks like a Ko-ken job like pretty much all of Würth socketry offerings. old 1/4" ones were Facom though but that was almost ten years back.

even if of taiwanese origin, like the bit-ratchet 1/4" set, it's a very useful and enjoyable set to have in your own toolbox.

Re: got a bit carried away with some eBay auctions action... :p

so, i was looking for a lousy little Hozan C-321 replacement pin on Rakuten an ended on eBay looking a a couple auctions from Japan with low starting bids and some tools that i either wanted or should want since i did not have them. ended up "winning" the two. added the pin and a small blue Hozan toolbox to boot. shipping, even as a "small packet" was more expensive than all the stuff i bought. damn. i hate that.

so, a few pixes to wet your appetite a hide my dismay at being so stupid:

2014-08-01-3154.jpg

that B-85 is a Toyo but i won't mind the Hozan branding since i do own lots of their tools and like most of them. that and it will be plastered with Hello Kitty! stickers.

oops! some neat little 3.peaks stainless steel nippers from .hk showing on top!

first, a little disappointment, the P-810 stainless tweezer set is made in Pakistan... made in Japan price though. :(

that's all for tonight. ;)

more to come later.

ps. box was totally new this morning, i even added felt pads underneath it to preserve its pristine look the longer possible. alas my nosy mother happened during crappy photoshoot.

box is now no longer "new". fell on concrete from 1.2m... thnaks mom <3!
