you are correct . For permanent installation on machines i guess so employees can´t remove the gun, and it seems there is also a safety directive that you must use a short hose (30 - 50cm) and then the coupler instead of attaching the coupler directly to the tool.

same here, short hose is mandatory for the coupler.

There pretty powerful for a little pair of cutters, but I haven't cut anything other than cable ties and copper wire. The chrome started peeling off the first time I used them, but other than that they've been good:

very nice E.C. Emmerich PRIMUS Improved Smooth Plane 711 , Lignum vitae sole, it evens smells very nice. Quite amazing wood Lignum vitae, still used for bearings, once used for ship prop shaft bearings apparently.

Also yesterday an Incra LS fence/positioner; hoping this will address re-ripping already narrow boards with the Festool MFT and track saw. The metric version, 1 mm stepped coarse repeatable adjustment (+/- 0.05mm) , and fine adjustment (0.025mm clicks). Seems very well built, and smooth linear bearings.


Just as well I have stared building new workshop; running (as usual) out of space.

Is Rockwell represented / available in Europe? Their cordless line up isn't very impressive but they have a few neat ideas such as the swivel / combination jig / reciprocating saw. Zee Trans4mer.
Their corded oscillating tools however, are second to none IMO.

I think i got who made it. Facom, but the screwdriver must be from Felo.

not so sure about a Facom origin... ratchet looks very taiwanese in the hand, and head is too different from an R.151 or R.161 to be Facom, bits and squaredriver are from Felo and socket set looks like a Ko-ken job like pretty much all of Würth socketry offerings. old 1/4" ones were Facom though but that was almost ten years back.

But as always Würth set their look to it.
I have been working with this set alot now and i must say i am impressed by it!

even if of taiwanese origin, like the bit-ratchet 1/4" set, it's a very useful and enjoyable set to have in your own toolbox.

Re: got a bit carried away with some eBay auctions action...

so, i was looking for a lousy little Hozan C-321 replacement pin on Rakuten an ended on eBay looking a a couple auctions from Japan with low starting bids and some tools that i either wanted or should want since i did not have them. ended up "winning" the two. added the pin and a small blue Hozan toolbox to boot. shipping, even as a "small packet" was more expensive than all the stuff i bought. damn. i hate that.

so, a few pixes to wet your appetite a hide my dismay at being so stupid:

that B-85 is a Toyo but i won't mind the Hozan branding since i do own lots of their tools and like most of them. that and it will be plastered with Hello Kitty! stickers.

oops! some neat little 3.peaks stainless steel nippers from .hk showing on top!

first, a little disappointment, the P-810 stainless tweezer set is made in Pakistan... made in Japan price though.

won't be opening them til i'm back in Arry so no inside shots. except if i need them here first.
