Have still been buying tools though will post pics of the interesting ones as soon as i get round to photographing them, but for now here are a few i got recently.

One huge made in Sweden Bacho screwdriver/pry-bar (think its a screwdriver but its heavy enough for light prying work) love the green translucent handles, wish manufacturers still made them like this instead of the rubber 'comfort' type that are in vogue now which i don't like.

Some new old stock Gedore socket wrenches don't have the t-bar for them yet sadly, I got these plus a bunch of other Gedore/Habero/Rahsol tools from the UK distributors eBay outlet

And lastly for now this interesting Usag wrench. I bought this thinking it was a standard 32 mm one, however on arrival it has machined jaws which appear to have been done professionally for some kind of narrow nut, possibly camber adjustment or similar?

I'm thinking it could be a Fiat special tool as i have some other Usag tools with Fiat part numbers, if anyone knows better please enlighten me

never heard of that brand, but they have some nice looking ladders (the black ones). In germany common brands for professional ladders are Zarges, Hymer and Günzburger Steigtechnik for example.

Ah yes, both the orbital sander and jigsaw are both made in Switzerland. My green ones are from Hungary.

Damned if you do, damned if you don't. I like to pronounce things correctly, but it's so hard because the average American butchers so many words and it's so accepted that it becomes socially unacceptable to speak like you have education beyond ninth grade. Knipex is one of those especially bad words because no matter how right you are, everyone is going to think you are saying it wrong.

some more tools i got in the post today

nos Palmera pliers with nice translucent handles has some rust forming under the handles though and one of the teeth in the curved part of the jaw is badly formed but eh they were cheapish and still nice, the seller i got these from have a bunch more Palmera tools too if anyone is interested.

Then a brace of blue acetate Gedore pozidrive #0 screwdrivers, interestingly one is a totally different design from the others, different year i guess,

I have a few of these spare as even i don't need 6 (took one to work already) so if anyone is after one give me a DM

And lastly a Ochsenkopf camping hatchet and holster, yet another brand in the Gedore group, one i hadn't heard of before, seems pretty nice and is quite sharp as standard too, though i will be honing it to make it properly sharp

old vbw wire strippers. They were rusted up but after a soaking in penetrene and a touch on the buffing wheel, they came up very nice. They also seem very well made. does anyone know if vbw pliers are available in australia, or know of an online store with reasonable shipping prices that ships to australia? I wouldnt mind buying some vbw!

Cool socket set, man! Looks to be in superb shape!

It's a Fein W14-125-something or other, the 'Inox' model for Stainless steel, 7000RPM. Got a screaming deal on it. My most powerful grinder before this one is about 8 amps, so this one is going to take a little getting used to.

Next up: Metabo 4-1/2", to see what the fuss is all about! LOL

That's a decent set you've got there!

That ratchet was the last of the proper Bedford ratchet's, and they didn't make them for long. Before that (up till the early 70's) they supplied the one shown on the box label, which was pretty primitive!

From the mid 70's they started supplying Canadian made husky ratchets, not a bad tool, but not a bedford!

I bought it from Amazon.de which softened the blow, the prices in australia were ridiculous. The vice was 150 aud on amazon, and 300 aud was the cheapest I could find in oz.

My first post here. I've been passively following this thread for years.

Anybody gotten their hands on one of these yet? Or any NWS screwdrivers for that matter?
I think non-VDE screwdrivers must be relatively new to the NWS lineup? I can't recall seeing them in their catalog before. The only vendor I can find selling them is Chadstoolbox and it looks like he's only got singles. No sets, and I can't find the kit pictured above.
