Yes that too... My sister lives in the USA so if I really wanted too...
I can get you Snap-on stuff if you want it. I'm in the UK and a good friend of mine is my Snap-on dealer. GPB-Euro, no import tax, etc.

You can now buy more tools duty free im you live in the USA.
The threshold for duty free imports to the United States of America was raised from 200 US$ to 800 US$. If the invoice value of your order (tools plus shipping) is below 800 US$ you will not pay any import duties. This is valid for one order per person per day.
President Obama signed the Trade Facilitation and Trade Enforcement Act of 2015 on February 24th, 2016.

I have 2 Elora ratchets both round heads with the push through drive, in 1/2" and 3/4" they are old fashioned and quite course but they work well and are strong. Don't have any experience with a more modern type.
Nice. Here is a used set and a little bit different. Still use them sometimes when I need a 12 point.

Anyone know the quality of Elora ratchets? The general trend on here is that they are not as good as their spanners/sockets but I want to try something different to Hazet/Stahlwille/Gedore.

ok i didn´t know that the money in Holland stinksHi Monte,
You are right you can get snap-On. I cant get snap-On. The last tool truck you linked operates close to my work and I have spoken to him before. We're I live no tool trucks otherwise I'd probably hassle the guy a little more. ( I work 1.5 hours from where I live)
The all require a business license in order to sell to you. As a consumer I do not have a business license. So I if I want I am reliant on second hand. Considering I can get new German tools without the hassle …
Yes I can get both Makita and festool nearby and fein at 25 minutes. Festool is awesome albeit pricey.
On my festool wish list are a shoe sander and a track saw. It's amazing how little vibration the shoe sander from festool passes on to your hands.
nice looking drawerNothing too exotic here but wanted to share my "drawer'o'Knipex". Always love reaching in here for just what I need.
nice machine !
ok i didn´t know that the money in Holland stinksIn Germany i can buy Snap-On stuff if i want. At least from the dealer here. But german tools are a good option
I don´t know how the dutch offline Festool prices are but the ebay.de Festool prices are pretty "good" in the meantime...

Isn´t the shoe sander too small for a whole house ?Yes eBay.de is great for power tools. Have to paint the house this summer so the shoe sander may get bought.
Like I said snap-on is a hassle. I think the truck sees me as a consumer the same way. Without me having a business license they have to deal with the btw / vat / gst. Which they are probably not set up to do / want to do for the occasional spanner / ratchet. That said I have seen plenty of threads here of American prosumers chasing tool trucks around town [emoji13]

Monte's post spurred me on to abuse the dymo at work....
Isn´t the shoe sander too small for a whole house ?Or just for window frames etc. ?

Is TBS Aachen closed or something? I can't get any communication from them. I feel like German companies always have terrible customer service for some reason.
