Some of you guys has ever used Liqui Moly LM50 lithium grease.I need it for lube auto bearing and gear wheel for some angle grinder.I heard that Molykote grease is just as good like Liqui Moly.
Or you know another good grease for bearings and high speed gear wheels?

I have not used this grease from liqui moly but currently i am using mainly liqui moly products and i am very very happy.You can't go wrong with them.

I have not used this grease from liqui moly but currently i am using mainly liqui moly products and i am very very happy.You can't go wrong with them.

If you need grease for the car's Wheel bearings the best is the "for life" one that you can buy from the dealer.

Normally after many years you just change the bearings and not re-grease, at least in NEW cars.

In any other case lopk for the NLGI certification "GC." specially for Auto bearings with EP additive and for High RPM.

Molybdenum is normally not good for High speed/ High temperature ball bearings unless is specially formulated and stated on the tin.

The Fein boxes have excellent design, but it seems to be a little bit easy to break. My friend has two of these box with cracks near the joint. They are almost new.

I think like dutchgray it is better to have both options but if it is not possible i prefer the B option.

Option A - by manufacturer! Most folks here know what they want, and if they want to browse, then it's usually to see what else that manufacturer offers!

Also, is it feasible you could put prices up in Euro's? There are a lot of folks fro the U.K. here who will probably find that cheapest!

How is the quality of the tool brands found at the large Baumarkt stores? Proxxon, WGB, Promat, Lux etc. Are they good enough for occasional use? I don't really like the Proxxon ratchets as they feel clunkly. My assumption is they are average quality as most come with a 10 year warranty. Is one brand better than the others? I need a few tools to round out my needs but I'm not sure what to get. I am also checking ebay.de for used Hazet, Stahlville, Gedore that seem to be about the same price as the new box store brands. I can't justify buying top of the line tools for the limited use. Thanks.

Definitely. Having a good search facility is a must too. Nowt as bad as searching for something and having pages of irrelevant results shown.

A --- i think is better for (you)seller-for management.

B ---- better for us,so if i want to compare Stahlwille-Hazet-Gedore socket for example is easy for me i will find them next to each other.

One of them seem to be broke at the custom when they tried to check the stuff inside the box. The other one is already broken when he got it, probably destroyed by the post office cause the package was damaged

That ratchet looks good. Let us know how those punches fare in use. Was considering getting some of those the other week, but couldn't decide whether to give them a shot or not.


On a complete tangent, currently trying to decide whether to get one of these or not.

I'd class it more a cut-off tool than a grinder, personally. One of those tools I can't envisage using much, but one which could be handy when you need it. I'm thinking this is one of those want rather than need moments though.

should be ok for DIY use. The only products where you really can save money are wrenches and socketry though, other tools are often the same price in a professional version. (or cheap quality)

I can´t think of any drawbacks except maybe that huge objects might not fit between the jaws if the object protrudes below the workbench (because the vice opens to the rear). And the beam which connects the front jaw with the rear part of the vise is wider than on a drop forged vice.

Got some more bits through yesterday. Ordered last Thursday, and arrived yesterday...,

from Germany.

Ordered them from a German company as the 2.5's seem thin on the ground over here, and it worked out cheaper than ordering a couple of 2.0's and a charger from over here. Figure that one if you can. That gives me two chargers and four batteries now, so should cover for the time being. I'd love to know why Bosch don't make a dual, independent charger, as others do though. Be simpler than having to get multiple, single chargers.

Got another Bosch piece arriving tomorrow too, (not the grinder as yet, and ordered from over here, this time), along with another Makita bag to transport the Bosch tools around in, (I prefer the design of the Makita bags to the Bosch bags). I'll post a photo of that when it arrives. Took some deciding whether to get the Bosch 10.8V version else a full size Makita 18V version, but eventually plumped for the former due to vehicle space limitations being a common occurence. Can always get the larger one later down the line if I find I start to need one more often.
