But can`t find the set and wrenches on their website !?
Toptul has something like this but as combination wrench

the ratcheting wrenches are from: hazet, ks tools and würth.
That's true but I'd rather go with Turnus, Klann or even PB because I assume that Matco is hard to find here.
Thats right. I just emailed them - maybe they have a Witte version too on request
Both - the Hazet 3/8" sockets and the Vigor 1/2" sockets or the Hazet 3/8" sockets in both 6 and 12 point?
The Hazet sockets in 3/8" and 1/2" in 6 point and 12 point
Nope, fortunately not. It was "only" approx. EUR 351 (with VAT).
Thats a good price !! nice haul !!
Regarding the "finish issue" raised here:
I sent the complete content of the 3/4" set to Stahlwille. Short version: According to Stahlwille, this finish is normal and quality is fine. The inside of the sockets is treated with a special coating (lacquer) as it's technically impossible to chromium-plate it. The spots I was worried about are the result of lacquer that was applied to areas that had been chromium-plated before.
Interesting to know ! Didn`t know they`re painted.
If the shipping costs are affordable, just go for it.
Still too expensive for me![]()
that is a beautiful, exotic collection (exotic to me, at least).
One brand of tools that I would like to see more of is BETA. Do you have any of that stuff?
@superautobacs:
I wonder how good the idea is. When the open end opens under load its a good tool to round off the corners of the nut/bolt i guess![]()
Good point; I never thought about that.
I'm wondering if it's any different than a regular open-end in terms of its ability to resist spreading....given equal materials.
With the arrival of my most recent PB Swiss shipment, My old world collection is more or less complete.
@Monte.. I'm saving room for THESE
as for the PB Ratchet.. lets put it like this.. if I could chose just one Screw driver ... it would be this with a set of philips and standard tips from PB.. The heft and quality of this is 2nd to nothing, even from Snapon.
Hey, Monte, thanks for performing a little DIY test!![]()
Did you palm hurt?
I'm gonna try to go to that store and take a look at them in person. I hope I can find some cool, NOS items.
MD11, nice assortment! Pictures are from workplace?
What brand are the cat's paw? Dogyu?
Do you have pics of the Racodon punches ?
So Signet is a "franco-canadian" thingIs there a "anglo-canadian" tool company too ?
ps: The Signet adjustable wrench with the rectangular hole looks spanish... ?
ps: to everybody who celebrates christmas on the 24th : Merry Christmas and Frohe Weihnachten !!![]()

Well, I'm home now and I looked for you..
The larger one with blue rubber is Eswing and the smaller black one is Stanley..
Sorry, I don't have pictures of it yet. They're just simple, short length, non-rubberized, knurled punches (knurling almost looks like a rasp).
Boy, look at this thing:
