Very cool Sandvik Belzer Gedore-style tool cart in Birmingham for £50 BiN. If I had more time I'd grab it myself. If anybody out that way feels like picking it up for me though... :D :

Gedore 3/8 socket set -

http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Gedore-special-double-edge-soket-set-3-8-32pieces-6mm-to-22mm-/321209608868?pt=UK_Hand_Tools_Equipment&hash=item4ac995aaa4

£60 + £15 P&P. Would be a good deal depending on how bad the rust is. I would like to think that after two years there would only be the odd speck. Probably worth contacting the seller to confirm.

Two Roebuck torque wrenches-

http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Roebuck-Torque-Wrenches-TW1-TW2-/111171915576?pt=UK_Hand_Tools_Equipment&hash=item19e25ccf38

£60 + £5.40 P&P

Norbar are they not?

Two good offers on subscription to Car Mechanics:
http://www.greatmagazines.co.uk/store/displaybrand.asp?sid=5238

I went for the £24 for 12 issues offer. I got £6.30 cashback through TopCashback as well making it less than £1.50 an issue.

I you're not a member here's my referral link: http://www.topcashback.co.uk/ref/Cuddyloup

Or if you don't want to share the love then it's: http://www.topcashback.co.uk/

There are quite a few tool places give cashback through Topcashback. I got cashback from Tooled Up and Rapid Online for example.

It's been on the go for decades. I just checked and it started in 1958!
Here's the website:
http://www.carmechanicsmag.co.uk/

Some of the features are excellent but some not so good. I really like the project cars and the tips from the trade features but I think the tool reviews are advertiser driven so it's mainly Draper and Sealey tools tested.

If you after some Toptul gear, Vantage tools are doing 25% off a £10 spend at the moment.

Code is - MOTOX

www.vantagetools.co.uk

I've not had a good look through the site but if you find any bargains on there please share!

Ooooh tempting! I haven't been on that site in a while and it looks like they're offering a wider range of Toptul stuff than before.

So cheap!

Already have a Facom 3/4" ratchet used solely for putting 36mm tank valves in so don't really need another ratchet......

Yeah, I've been on the fence for a while about jumping into the 3/4" format, but this was too cheap to pass up (assuming what arrives is as good as the pic).

Hi
I got my ratchet today, as in the photos, like new, 36T, no rust or marks.
I am v/happy with it, they are selling new ones for £50, but it is like new. :dunno:
The postage is a bit high, but for £32 it is a nice tool.

Ps,
Koken do not make a 72tooth Ratchet. This is because years of research and development has proven to them that 72 teeth is a marketing ploy and not a benefit.

Hey better late than never! The box is massive and has more space than my Sealey topbox and Beta roll cab combined.

Nice! Was that the box that was £65 or so? Will it be another few months before pics with tools? :)

Fellas,

Just a gentle caveat when dealing with The Tool Academy (Ebay: hardwick1982_on); My wife has made a purchase via their ebay site. They've chosen Yodel as their courier - who have so far made two delivery attempts and claim they will make three before we need to collect from the depot (over 20 miles away), although for some reason they haven't tried to deliver today - presumably we're supposed to guess as to when we need to sit around the house waiting for them indefinitely.

Anyhow, back on to the seller; They have emailed my wife claiming that if the item (which cost £19.95 + £4.50 shipping) is returned to them by the courier (after failed delivery), they'll deduct £9.99, plus 10% restocking fee, and the outbound postage charge from the original cost -so leaving us with £7.97 refund from £24.45.

Now it hasn't actually gotten to that point yet (and we do intend to try and take delivery), and I'm not entirely convinced they can make those charges as they're not laid out in the auction terms and conditions that I can see, but I think it's fair to warn any potential customers that refunds from this seller could prove difficult and disappointing.

Definitely NOT a hot deal. Buyer beware!
