By chance I bought them several things from Toptul last month, the price was impressive, they gathered me all the purchases in the same package and paid only 1 shipment.

ITS have a 40th Anniversary sale on at the moment.
I'm not normally a fan of their pricing and they also sell a lot of cheap items but they do sometimes have good offers on the popular brand power tools.

Might be something for someone:

One item which caught my eye was the Ultex 10 piece chisel set at £24.00:
https://www.its.co.uk/pd/Product_ULT200015.htm

I've not use this brand of chisel before but they should be adequate for roughing work or DIY type of use.
Probably not for fine woodworking though (stick to the older Marples or new Ashley Iles for that).

However, the set does include a double sided sharpening stone and guide, which normally retails on it's own for £6 more than this entire set:

^ Talking of Homebase.

They are still selling off Weller soldering irons.

Their website says they have no stock at my local store but there is some on the shelves so maybe worth a look in other stores.

Weller High Performance Soldering Iron with LEDs - 25 Watt £11.95

Also some Kincrome pliers at about half price. Not sure if they are any good. Maybe not.

Its getting difficult to find a Homebase around here these days.

Are they closing stores?

Edit.. 47 closed last year and maybe more to come. Not sure how I feel about it. They are expensive (sometimes very expensive) and don't offer much quality so I don't like shopping there but sometimes you need something straight away. It's also good to be able to see and handle some items. Similar to Halfords. **** store but sometimes they can be indispensable.

I don't normally cross-post deals to multiple threads, but this one is "in stock" so it doesn't seem to be as limited in quantity as most of the Amazon.de deals I find.

It's an 8-piece USAG screwdriver set for less than $20. If you've seen my posts in the Tools from the Old World thread, you know I've tried out a lot of screwdrivers, and these are some of my favorites.

They are the Facom ProTwist series screwdrivers but with "USAG" (owned by SBD along with Facom) printed on the handles instead of Facom. This set has 3 Philips drivers, including Ph2, and 5 slotted drivers.

I have this exact set and love it.

Just bought a pair of Made in Germany H4 headlight bulbs from Lidl for £5. No pics, but they're branded Wotan, which seems to have links to Osram.

You are probably right :( I didn't expect that from Amazon direct

I don't think they are fakes. The genuine Bahco cutters are made in China, mass produced and cheap. Maybe the reviewers think Bahco tools are still made in Sweden. :dunno:
