So last week I ordered a service cart and originally had it shipped to my house but seeing as I live in an apartment I didn’t think that through, so gave them a call and asked for them to ship to the nearest DC and hold it for me to pick up there. I did this on Monday. I received an email Thursday stating it was ready for pick up. So I drive to the DC, about 15 minutes away and give them tracking, and they tell me “no, it’s still in transit about 3 hours away, it’s showing it’ll be available tomorrow “ so I pull up the email and show it saying it’s delivered and they just simply shrug and say it’s not here again. So I drive home empty handed and annoyed. Friday comes and goes with the updated status just saying “ in transit, on time “ this status stays the same through the weekend. So yesterday pretty much convinced they lost the package I call again and they assure me it’ll be delivered by end of day. Well... they did... they ended up rolling it end over end up the stairs to my apartment and left it at the door, rather than hold it at the DC. So now I have a severely dented up tool cart and no replacement available for an unforeseen time. All in all pretty frustrating experience with UPS.
