Prices have gone up in Maine mid-coast area recently. Patience will generally be rewarded. I think prices tend to be lower in late September, and in late winter. When people are spending more time in their shops, and thinking about a change. Under $100 still comes up from time to time for a Walker Turner, Craftsman, Delta, or Taiwanese. I have a WT and Craftsman 80, both of which I like for their Karma. I am second own of both, and know of the original purchasers. However, my Taiwanese has a crank up table, runs smoothly, and does as nice a job as the others. Ironically, it just lacks the Karma of the others. I would not hesitate to pick up an older Taiwanese DP in good shape for a good price.
