Haven't seen any on here so I though I'd show mine. This thing is about 50 pounds! Here it is after I cleaned it:

P_M thanks for including a link to my 'resto'; but it's just a clean-up. Your thread is a true resto/re-build!Should be fun, looking forward to progress photos! Who made the grinder?
There are several grinder rebuild and restoration threads here. Here's mine:
The Transamarobird swallows another victim!
And here's a great Craftsman "block" grinder resto:

Thanks, I couldn't tell if it was really old oil or old grease in there![]()
I'm really excited to see this come together. It looks like a real solid grinder!
Since you already posting some pictures in the '50s garage thread of mine, I'm expecting 'after' photos as well!
I did a quick look through the grinder photo index over at OWWM and I didn't find your exact grinder, but I found one close:

While having some differences, take a look at the base - pretty much identical in shape. It also looks like it has the same locking collets that keep the bearings in. This is a 'Handy' model by Baldor.

Did you press some new bearings on? That size shaft probably uses a 6203 bearing. I've always replaced with sealed 6203 bearings for the 6-7" grinders.
