I thought i was the only one that did that who would of thunkLOL, which one? I'm always changing it up.

You're surprised on how many people wanted to buy it from him at $200?
I think the snap on boxes in Minnesota rarely sell cheap here so when this one came on everyone wanted it! I think if i wanted to i could easily sell it right now for $300 plus just by how many people wanted it at $200. I am keeping it tho and i am going to repaint it in the spring!
So i can't take them off to repaint the boxes without the tool?
Start out at half....lol you watch to much TV. American pickers or *** monkey. If someone offered me half of what I was asking I would just say have a good day we are done here. Unless your dealing with someone who has no idea what the item is worth and they are asking way to much.
Esp when there are plenty of people saying they would pay 400 for them.

I'd pay $400 for that setup. Can't believe how cheap some people are.
You can't buy a flimsy Craftsman setup like that size for under $400.
And I completely disagree that it's "out-dated." I have scores of them and they work great once cleaned and lubed. Good for a full time mechanic? Probably not but I love these old boxes. Hell, I have 5 or 10 so old they have no slides at all!
If you delete the ad on craigslist you can't respond to the people emailing you anymore!
Before you decide to repaint the boxes, which is a major PIA project, at least try some good automotive compound like McGuires DACP and some elbow grease.
You can also get touch up paint direct from SO.
These things can actually clean up better then you may think.
Cody, I have about 20 of those tools so when spring comes around if you're still having an issue getting the drawers out let me know and I'll send you one. As someone said though, you can just grind down a hacksaw blade and bend it a little and that will work fine.
I tried to use them but can't figure out how to use it.
