Athol 622-1/2 2-1/2" Jaws.

Mr. Scott that sure looks a Athol 622 1/4 with 2 1/4” jaws as opposed to the 622 1/2 with 2 1/2” jaws. I know a 1/4” difference doesn’t sound like much, but the 2 1/4” is waaay smaller than 2 1/2”. Here’s another 622 1/4 I picked up a few months ago.

Here’s another mini Athol I picked up the same week as the 622 1/4. It a #722 1/8.
2 1/8” jaws with the Ratcheting handle.

That 722-1/8 is pretty nice, how many of those are out there. A real prize you have. I will add your ratcheting Athol to the spreadsheet too. Thanks again.

Heuer 75, 3" jaws, opens to 2-7/8", weighs 6 lbs. This is an early Heuer, newer ones are a little different.

Reed 302-1/2 swivel jaw fixed base, 2-1/2" jaws, opens to 3", weighs 16 lbs.

Union 2" under bench mount type vise. 2" wide jaws, opens to 2-3/4", weighs 6 lbs. Came to me without any mounting parts, ones shown I scrounged up, seem appropriate.

Have an Athol 102-1/4, just to update the list, 2-1/4" wide jaws, opens to 2", weighs 4 lbs.

Edit to add - Torco by Wilton 4" jaw, opens to 4", weighs 22 lbs. My particular example is dated 8-31-1950 for what that's worth.

454, does your Torco have a 40 on the Static and Dynamic casting?

Kevin, I think it does. The only pic I have of it at the moment is of the other side. I'll check tomorrow and get back to you. Can get pics if you'd like.

Kevin and 454, anything I would have posted for the Torco would have come from this brochure, but I guess I did not finish updating the spreadsheet from this brochure. I just noticed the weight listed is "shipping weight".

Added some other Wilton brochures if they have specs that have not been added

Sorry Kevin, almost forgot about this. It does have the "40" markings, looking at FMC's ad it's a 240, no pipe jaws, no signs it ever had them.

Here is a little more info on a Wilton 600 SJ. Weighed today at #170. Jaw opening is 9-1/2" with slide flush at rear. Here are a couple of pics of the freshly painted vise. Nice job on the spreadsheet guys....a noble endeavor. Ed.
