It's coming along. All this hard work will result in a nice garage soon. You're lucky to have your father-in-law to help you. Our elders are filled with knowledge.

You get a lot of snow.

Here in England the country stops if we have one centimetre

Crazy.
I think if you always had snow in winter like ours, then you would be ready for this and would be comfortable with it :)

I don't understand a word - CHEERS in the end of most post here on the forum.
Can you help me what does it mean?

Translators

Cheers!: варианты перевода
междометие
Ура! Hooray!, Hurrah!, Cheers!, Hurray!, Rah!, Yippee! - in russian УРА is a cry on the red square during the victory parade in the Great Patriotic War, in general, a cry of joy in some event.
Other variants it's a "tost" (not bread) - "Lifting a glass you say a toast to all those gathered at the festive table"
Ваше здоровье! Cheers!, Cheerio!, Skoal!
Будьте здоровы! Cheers!, God bless you!, Cheerio!

Stas Cheers can also mean I salute you or I commend you for instance as a complement to a good job, which, incidentally, it looks like you have done with the garage. Cheers!

STAS: great workout program there and thanks for showing some of us how you built the PIT cause i thought maybe it was already in that TANK LIKE GARAGE when you bought it. WELL DONE!!

just curious if you thought about putting lights in the pit while you were making it?

CHEERS to me means
1) here's to your good health
2) tipping my hat
3) have a great day
4) have a drink and clicking glasses and mine is usually full of ice tea these days
5) have a good one

or just what BOBBY POSTED works for me too

I take the "Cheers" to be a toast to all at our festive virtual table. So raise your virtual glass in response when you see that. Ciao!

Some are concerned about revealing their location and identity to all who may happen by on the internet. Drives would rather err on the side of caution to discourage an undesirable individual from taking advantage of learning his name and location. Others of us are less sophisticated and may subject ourselves to online originated fraud.

Interesting story on the development of your garage. Not just a minor renovation! (I did not expect to see such a suave individual as you with a shovel in your hand:lol_hitti)

Hi Andy, nice to see you in this morning here!

In occasion of anonymity on the Internet, it seems to me it is more similar to a schizophrenia. If you want, you can find anyone in any part of the world using modern technology. I'm not worried, because our FSB or your FBI / CIA is being watched by all of us constantly, it's not for nothing that scandals are constantly about wiki-leaks and Snowden :lol::lol::lol:

I understand about "CHEERS"

Ok, I would call you - Mr.Hide :lol_hitti

About light on the inspection pit - I will install the same fixtures like on the ceiling.
In the inspection pit conducted an electrical cable, which must also be connected to the switchboard in the corner. Later I'll show you a pit more details and you will understand.

So these garages you have. They are owned by your family and not just rented units? In the USA we have storage garages kind of like what you have but doing anything with lighting or a PIT is not acceptable. To me it seems that they are kind of like our condos but only for cars.

As for the parking spots, are those also owned or are they just rented spots?

I love reading about other parts of the world, opens my eyes compared to what the news tries to tell us about other countries.

Hi Raley!
Garages in the garage complex are all owned by the owners. Every owner inside the garage can do what he wants. Parking between the garages, rent out parking spaces for everyone. Rent for a parking lot costs about $ 30 a month.

The project name "ЛЕВАЯ СТЕНА (LEFT WALL)"

Comrades asked why the left wall is not decorated like the rest. This wall is adjacent to the neighboring garage, in which it is insulated. Because it will not be insulated, unlike the rest of the walls in the garage, which are insulated with glass wool.

IMG_20171126_131248

We decided to finish the left wall with composite aluminum-plastic panels.

IMG_20171129_142634

First we made slats from birch plywood. My father-in-law started from the right corner.
Further to the left of it were shelves, which I cleaned and dismantled.
IMG_20171202_143950

IMG_20171206_145510

IMG_20171206_145518

The first fitting of a composite sheet and heat insulation made of expanded polyethylene.
IMG_20171205_103218

Fixed rails of birch plywood along the entire length of the wall.
IMG_20171210_105651

On the wall, we applied foamed foamed polyethylene, called "IZOFOL". This steam-heat insulation is very thin, but very effective. Heat is reflected from it inside the room, due to a thin layer of foil, and foamed polyethylene is an excellent heat insulator.

IMG_20171210_112235

Isofol is fastened with a furniture stapler
IMG_20171210_112232

The piece of wall on which the electric board hangs will be further insulated with glass wool.
IMG_20171210_114001

The composite panel has a protective film, which, due to long storage in the sun, has lost its properties and is very poorly cleaned. On the edge of the sheet there was a strip about 0.5 inch wide (1.5 cm), which we had to clean with a knife and a rag with acetone.
IMG_20171210_134811

Attached the sheet to the wall

How much does this panel?

Я точно не знаю, их брали с рук не в идеальном состоянии, но цена что-то типа 4000 за квадрат отличных, но это не точная инфа, надо гуглить.
I don't know :p

Thank you for sharing your photos. I enjoy seeing how other nations live. Here in the USA we are too focused on ourselves.

I would love to see photos of everything in your life, although with so much manufacturing moved to Asia I think we share many brands. I would love to see your tools, kitchen and other ordinary items used daily.

Agriculture began to recover after the crisis in connection with the fall of the USSR, because many entrepreneurs realized that the land is life. The state also launched a policy of support, of course, they say more than do in reality, but it's better than nothing. Classic in your understanding of the farm, we just started to appear. During the USSR there were collective state farms, many of them disappeared, and some have now got a second wind and are actively developing.
Wheat production is growing and it is actively exported to other countries from our region began deliveries to China.

Due to sanctions, many producers of agricultural and livestock products have received an excellent impetus to development and this is very positive, I believe.

The main problem in the village is drinking, and the reluctance of some people to work. Who wants to work, he works, and who does not want looks for reasons. There are objective problems of remoteness from markets, but in most cases the blame for not wanting to work. This is my point of view which may not coincide with the point of view of villagers.

In urban areas also a large number of people who do not want to evolve and try to earn more, and that's their problem. Who wants to earn, he is active and has a fairly high level of income.

Social problems and people are exactly the same, no matter what flag they live under.

In future I will show you something interesting!
We have the theme of the day in TV news - Kim Jong-un and Trump are measured by their *** members who have longer or shorter ones, as well as nuclear arsenals.
To me personally, this is all "up to the lantern" because I have enough of my problems than to look at this clowning political. :rocker:

I understand that this is a roll of minced meat, inside which is a hot chili, cheese and something else, and outside the pork lard? Is it all roasted on charcoal? I correctly understood the recipe or not?:drool::drool::drool:

Very close! The white is cream cheese. сливочный сыр according to an online translation. I'm not sure if our cream cheese is popular internationally, I was once told people in Europe simply call it "Philadelphia".

ING-cream-cheese-thumb1x1.jpg

The outside is sausage (minced meat), filled with jalapeno chili peppers, cream cheese, cheddar cheese, then wrapped in bacon (pork belly, lard).

I cook mine on a wood pellet grill. It uses compressed wood chips as fuel. I used to cook them with charcoal in my previous grill.

If you ever make it to Florida I'd be happy to cook some for you.

Philadelphia cheese I know, it is usually put in sushi. I would have moved with great pleasure from -15 celsius in Zheleznogorsk now to sunny Florida and would try your recipe for a taste. :D
