I love this!!! If you look quick it looks like you took over your high end kitchen w/car stuff...The ULTIMATE man cave (and my wifes biggest fear)!!! LOL!!!
Sweet setup! I'm loving my Lista cabinets. Still organizing them, but dang they are nice to work with.
What size are yours?
They are the 56" and 30"
Here's the result of this thread in my garage... 24' feet of cabinets to hide plastic storage bins the rest is folly to show off some tchotchkes.
Basically there are 6 ea. 48" wide 42" high (bar height) 24" deep boxes made out of 3/4" plywood trimmed with ripped down 1 x 2.25 and Kreg'd together. I used a center shelf so 2 plastic bins would fit on the bottom and 1 on the top. I used 1/4 luan for the doors and backs. The counters are 30" wide with a 2" hangover in the front/sides and 4" in the back so they sit against the wall but the cabinets sit inside the cement "curbs" at the floor. The counter tops are poor mans granite... Armstrong floor tiles with 1" aluminum trim to finish the edges. I used the aluminum roof flashing idea from the "Barage" as the back splash. I added the sign because I always wanted a Hot Rod Diner and I was a little jealous of the "Hot Rod Grille".
There are a couple of observations... I should have used a hardwood as my trim and door frames. Pine is really too soft. Also the 1/4 luan is too unstable for such big doors with such small frames. Chances are I'll rebuild the doors at sometime but for now they are fine.
Overall I'm pleased for my first attempt at cabinets and for you real wood workers out there this gives me a real appreciation for the detail that goes into your projects.
dont know weather to say "damn nice cabinets or damn nice car" how about just DAMN NICE!![]()
Found this rounded corner tool cabinet at an on line antique store.
View media item 10630I'm trying to keep this string current. A lot of people are posting questions and photos of their great storage cabinets. This was meant to be a place you could put your posts and keep up on the first page of threads. To inspire those remodeling or reorganize what they have. So if it looks like I'm the only one adding to this thread I'm sorry. Yep I sell this kind of stuff on line, but this is a place for you to add to till a separate category for Storage and Cabinets is added. Thanks

Great cabinets and inspiring ideas
...but but I have yet to see a 2-car garage with a bunch of floor/bulky equipment like I have. I think I need less cabinets and more floor space
Floor jacks
7x12 Lathe
Drill press
Welder
Bandsaw
Engine stand
Engine lift
Hydraulic press
Compressor
Bench Grinder on a stand
Scissor lift (though this is just on the floor so not a problem)
Washer/Dryer
Furnace and water heater
and yet I'm always looking to add more tools...it really is a mental illness![]()
All the lockers came from multiple sources including a mental institution in Kansas. Several different sizes and configurations. All painted to match with base/clear automotive paint which cost way more than I actually have in buying the lockers themselves. Several came out of remodels, etc. The base cabinets came out of a grocery store pharmacy remodel and painted to match.
Just finished building these. They are roughly, 7' tall by 3' wide and 24'' deep.

Nice cabinets. Did you make these? They look way to good for something I could have done.
A few months ago, I got a bug to pick up an old school locker to use as storage for all my aerosol paints, etc. So I trolled eBay after striking out locally and picked up this:

I realize this is an old thread, but wow! Amazing use of space and woodworking skills. Well done! Loved the innovative table saw storage.Titanium Frost; Mobile mitre saw stand with more closed storage and fold out wings. 13 long section 18" deep and an end cabinet 6'6"x36"x18" all free from work, just threw a couple coats of rustoleum red on with a roller. Finish actually came out nice.

Still a work in progress...but built these cabinets/bench the past few weeks as part of my garage project. Will post better pics later. A lot of ideas/inspiration from creeping in on everyone's awesome garages on this site. This unit is 20 feet long, and 10'6'' high. First attempt at finishing a garage...and I'm having a blast.
Gotta sweet deal off CL..
