What do your Storage Cabinets look like?

Painted steel wall cabinets from McMaster Carr. With most of my equipment backed against the paint booth, the space above was wasted, so bolting these to the booth provided some much needed storage...

I just got mine installed not too long ago. They are Diamond Innovative Garage DIG6 kits. I really like them. My one car garage was so cluttered, these things really helped. I still have some cleaning to do but here are some pictures of them...

3ft wide tall cabinet sits in the corner on the opposite wall next to the tool boxes. Thinking about getting another tall cabinet to replace the white one on the left.

@lowheat, good use of a small space. What is the width of your garage? How much clear do you have with the cabinets and benches installed?

Here is an old pic when I first started building this bench, I'll try to post something newer someday if I can clean the garage enough to see it :)

I used the Home Depot cabinets and at $59.00 a cabinet, I couldn't build them for that let alone the time to build them too

MP&C Could you give some info on those brakes? Thanks

Diacro model 16-24, rated at 8 tons IIRC, the nice part is the small size and manual operation, comes in handy for making patch panels, etc. Purchased used, I probably have a little over 1K in the two of them. Just to stay on topic, here's a picture of the storage cabinets mounted above the brakes...........

Here is the cabinet I made for my shop, melamine case with pine doors. Plus the other side of the shop, working on dust collection ideas so no storage on the other walls yet.

Is this the same blue Miller uses for their welders? What is its name if I were to order it at Home Depot or Lowes?

I got the paint from Sherwin-Williams and didn't really match it to anything. Sorry, I don't remember the color name. The inspiration was the blue color of my Atlas lift, but the cabinet paint is actually a little lighter blue.

Jim,
the garage looks great. The cabinets are straight and level. Kudos to the builder of your house for keeping the floor and walls plumb level.

Thanks! They did pretty good there. I just wish they had spent a bit more time on the mudding of the drywall there in the garage!

It's great to see how everyone has their workspace set up. Lots of nice tools in there :) @BHR4CE1 @Jack Olsen I love your Lista and Vidmar set ups and glad they are treating you well.

I couldn't afford the real expensive cabinets like Lista, although I lusted after them. I went with the NewAge Pro Diamond series when I redid my garage and I have been very happy with them so far, little over a year. Here is a shot of half of them. I have another section, with one less large cabinet, on the other side of my garage.

They look pretty cool.

We're having a close out sale on the Diamond Plate Pro-Series NewAge Cabinets for the month of October. NewAge is bringing in a new style of diamond plate cabinet in the Performance Line. To close out the Pro-Series Diamond Plate Cabinets we're offering an additional 20% off the "build your own" prices of 15% off orders over $1000.00 and 20% off orders over $3000.00.
The close out extra 20% includes the Pre-configured Pro-Series Diamond Plate sets shown on our website. These sets are already discounted for the dollar amount, but you'll get 20% off the price listed for the sets.

This would be a good time to add some more cabinets to your garage.

I currently have some cheap-o white melamine/particle board cabinets from Home Depot. After having one break and fall off the wall onto the hood of my truck, I'm dedicated to erradicating all particle board from my shop! :) It's all metal for me from here on out.

Those New Age cabinets looks nice! Are they sturdy enough? If you plop a gallon of paint down on one of the shelves they won't buckle? I was in Ikea yesterday and noticed some sheetmetal cabinets that I deemed much to lightweight for the abuse they'd see in my shop. I'm wondering if the low price on the Menard's cabinets reflects too light of metal as well. I have a sheet metal fab shop, do powdercoating, and *could* build my own cabinets, but if they are around $150/set it isn't worth my time.
