Who is the OEM?

My wife just picked up her Bronco hardtop and it came with a toolkit for removing the shell.

Of course I had to take a picture to show them off. They appear to be pretty high quality.

So anybody have any idea who the OEM is?

72 teeth? Is the direction lever "backwards" - lever to the right to tighten, left to loosen? Looks like a generic Taiwanese head to me. Torx head screws are the giveaway IMO.

Im gonna guess a customized set by EASEN Taiwan.
Same dual drive mechanism as the Duratech and Ares, etc.

I noticed while recently conducting an extensive search for ratcheting box wrenches that all the brands stamped with the name letters in outline appeared identical to the Gearwrench brand. I ended up purchasing a Husky set that happened to have the brand name letters in outline, and side by side the wrenches looked identical to my Gearwrench wrenches. So now every time I see an imported tool with the name letters stamped in outline like these Bronco tools, my first suspect is the factory making Gearwrench.

Generic Taiwanese tools. What makes you think they would put good tools in there? Ford cuts costs just like everyone else.

Looks much better than the tools that came with my Mercedes when I lived in Europe years ago.

Still have a few, mostly because they weren’t something I really ever wanted to use, so they never wore out or got lost

I thought the handle looked a little like Apex (Gearwrench), but they don't have a dual-sided ratchet like that as far as I'm aware. I'm sure they could make one (and they do re-brand for a TON of other companies), but would Ford really bother spec'ing something unique?



The head looks way more like this one from Titan:


Not just the selector switch and bit holder, but the very flat profile of the sides too.

Titan ratchets are quite nice (the micro ones at least) their insert bits are OK, but their pistol grip pliers, ratcheting micro bit drivers, and standard non ratcheting bit drivers have some QC issues.

The same as the Pittsburgh/Quinn ratchets thought kobalt was selling them you see them just about everywhere

Do the Jeeps come with a ratchet thought? I thought it was only an allen key that was sent with them?
