Who makes Napa hand tools? The ratchets look almost like Kobalts, but does anybody know for sure? They are made in USA

Coach James said:If they're made by Danaher, they must be filled with gold. I paid $17 for a NAPA 3 inch 3/8 wobble extension last year. I was in a bind as nobody else in town had one and I needed it to change out the thermostat on my truck.
The same NAPA sells Blackhawk tools in addition to their own.

Jee........this thread is so old, I haven't posted in it yet.![]()

There's nothing wrong with Gearwrench but, why pay more just for the Napa name?
I have the napa pro metric combos. They are exactly the same as the kd wrenches. They are very nice and USA.

Ok so danaher does supply napa as well as a lot of other brands but as far as their ratchets and breaker bars and some other misc tool they are actually machined from raw material in joplin mo.
Well, things change over the years, so I figured I'd ask my question in this thread.
Where do you reckon these extra long combos are made? The price suggests China, but if it was Taiwan, I'd buy a set for my brother.
