I did my own test of a long 3/4 snapon flankdrive plus that I found. I put the open end on a pitman arm puller and tightened it as tight as I could by hand, then put a 3 foot pipe on the wrench and tightened it some more. The opened end started to spread but didnt slip and then the pitman arm popped off. The open end wouldnt hardly fit on anything before this, now it is no problem to fit on 3/4 or 19mm bolts/nuts.

Canadian test of 13 and 17mm combination wrenches

http://www.thetoolchest.ca/pages/The-Toptul-Story-&-Breaktests.html

Interesting how the box end result for the 13mm Snap On aligns nicely with the German test mentioned in the previous post (half way down the page)

http://www.garagejournal.com/forum/...light=german+test+hazet+stahlwille+snap+flank

In the German test the Snap On doesn't bend the box end at the test max torque of 240 Nm - the Canadian test shows us that bending occurs at 27.487 kgm = 270 Nm

Kind of sad that the 17mm Craftsman breaks the box end.
